  1. agree with goody,i work very closely with toyota,so my suggestion is to call them (the parts dept)& get them to copy a diagram of the front bumper or front end & itll tell all bra...if my local can help im pretty sure urs can too... p.s. My ballasts are cable tied & it dont look that sloppy of a job
  2. Thats bloody scarey...it looked like it hurt
  3. Also is there a need to re-quote the whole post ? WOW...i gotta take a look at mine,Not as extreme as YDOIT4's but with the mods ive put in have been noticeable esp in torque, been killing the NA mitsi lancer motorkhana groups lately..so ive better get on it
  4. Now since then i have the car back with everything installed except the - Fidanza flywheel - wouldnt fit to big?? - U.R. Lightweight standard diamater Alternator pulley - couldnt fit still have to speak to UR about this - grounding kit - still havent bought it - racing cooling panel - package was lost in the mail Except for those everything else is installed, thought i might inform the other fellow TOCA members that arent YET silver members about my lil 1zz project hehe Ohh ive been to lazy to post the power gains but its from 87kw At the wheels to 98kw At the wheels and as torque is never right as we all know so i will just say 85Nm gain of torque So a big increase in torque you can REALLY feel it Ill take photos this weekend of the car at the meet in Terrigal and i will post the dyno on monday now i guess its time to hit the strip :P what would this all mean in kw gain??..(just asking no pun intended)
  5. Ive used everything from Kumhos 712s to yoko pilots, depends on ur budjet..(this might be lil biased coz im sponsored by these dudes) A good valued tyre company is the Toyo ranging from the Proxes to the T1R,No excessive road noise,Grip beautifully in the wet & dry,Dont get me wrong the pilots were great BUT @ two hundred plus a tyre, its pricey Racing motorkhanas,I feel the tyre differences do matter..but it all matters on your budjet as well good luck
  6. like the kill list..Quite impreesive 'Its not always the car ,its the pilot behind the the wheel'"you & i shall be comparing lists in the future Better read my sig carefully man. It's not what you think :P whoops sorry my bad??

  8. Are there any corolla TOC membersat all in perth or am i alone in this place?? being so far away from the group, feels a lil lonely taking on Lancers, civics & 'daewoos' by myself,Need help..sos hahahhaha Seen alot of rollies here,Mod'd like crazy...
  9. The TPGs are on the way out ,The Proxes are the replacements, same compound, similar tread cut..same feel,Grippy like a mf,The corolla reacts very well to the rubber, even if u steering style a lil aggresive, itll handle beautifully..more special on the wet,but ill leave it up to guys hahahhaha
  10. iVE RACED ON THESE GRLIES....GOT THEM ON MY ROLLIE ,16S ON ENKEIS ,GREAT ON WET..SPECIAL ON DRY.....RECOMMENDED

  14. Ive sorted myeslf out with a tanabe medallion exhaust running offa 2 1/4 piping, joined up with a custom made header sysytem from moi,im quite happy with it big time ,as its on a 1zzfe'd corolla ascent, power wise is substantially noticable,& the sound .........awesome....on an open road(freeway racing) its got that N1 /kanjo style feel to it(the crackle & the pops)torque is great too it doesnt have to be spoon bruv.....spoon is good, but a g is too much were ive only spent 600 plus on my system
  15. simple but very classy........initial d stickrs the icning onthe cake!!
  16. HI there... I work very very closely with the redline group here in perth,Having owned a 3sgte'd ae86 (im sorry for that one ive kept the 20v but??) the lightweight shockproof gear oil is the one to go,having it used in all our motorkhana cars, the response & shift feel is great, also the load rating being higher, itll help on the full car trips (i dread them myself) owning a 1zzfe zze122r the first mod was gear box oil.then the intake & exhaust mods .ive never worried about the gearbox coz im confident in the oil being tested many other cars im my p o v is very reliable stay safe ..drive like a toyota......kanjo style B) B)
