  1. Although the dark profile with the polish lip is the new preferred look, You cant go wrong with the authentic racing look of Gunmetal grey or white..
  2. ROLLA HEAVEN..one of the top examples of rolla mod & style..
  3. 'run in an engine' is to safely 'cure' the internals of the engine by not stressing the engine by not exceeding a specified rev range.once hes 'run' his engine in,He can drive it normally or with 'less caution' hahahha
  4. Hey buddy..its really up to u, i recommend following the specs req for ur car...OH complying with ur budget too..mine uses 10w40 engine oil,i personally use REdline engine oil($120.00 all up) & gearbox oil($106. for a gallon/3.78ltr),i love full synthetic oils (& i use the same oils for racing too)the gearbox oil i use is the Lightweight shockproof (Blue color) the reason i use this the properties i feel exceed the recommended specs from toyota & ive also reduced service time by using quality parts.. Stick to ur budget,I work for a automotive reseller in perth ,ive used every oil on the market from Castrol, Penrite,Valvoline,Fuchs to Shell, prices from $25 plus to $130..Its really up to you & wat ur comfortable with.
  5. Weve no problem with ebc greens, its a kevlar type pad so it shouldnt squeal nor give huge amouts of brake dust like the ferodos excels or the bendix for these a mainly semi metallic composite( the cts are a economy pad i suggest not using these at all if u are still wanting to use bendix at least use the Advance or the Heavy duty series)even on a track day to the drive home ive never had any problems u pay for what u get, invest a lil ,never skint on safety esp brakes.good luck on ur decision
  6. its great that people are still wanting to do apprenticeships now days, for some its too much of a commitment ,but the end product is what you have to look forward to,it could turn from a so & so passion to a paid job that ull enjoy, & everybody wants a job to enjoy right?? Ide suggest to go on the govt websites & carefully choosing the career you might be interested in,Then proceed to applying(Thats if u fit the criterias) & its up too you to commit to it,ive done my Mechanical engineers course (well ten years ago) the first two years pay was 'ok???' but as got closer & finished your salary could be average to great!!!.it took four years of technical & practical courses but knowledge & trades cert ive attained is priceless, esp with our countrys lack of trade personel,That time...I applied thru the paper, but the net might be better way to go.. ide say go for it..& good luck..its worth it
  7. Once again ,you boys have outdone urselves,The setttings ,the time of day seemed perfect for the shoot,i must apologise in advanced by not being able to recognise the cars to members, but the light blue rolla is a beautiful example of street art,not that the rest of the cast give the same presence, but the simple lines & fine detail do it for me. this a great example of Jdm beauty & makes me proud to be a toyota rolla owner & japanese car enthausiast...u boys have my respect & my applause..well done
  8. uuuummm..Ide say the 4 1/2g mark.ecu, coilovers, custom fart system & racing rolling gear, wouldnt mind spending a lil more to up the power &maybe doll it up abit more...to be advised :D

  13. Prosser Toyota in Canning vale servicd my rig,One the apprentices proceeded to clean my car after the service..with a pressure cleaner and stripped the paint off the bonnet,a total of 1 inch of paint come off plus the stone chips opened up too,to tell u the truth i wasnt upset a lil disappointed not...Mad.. the manager called me up apologised profusely & booked my car for a complete frt respray, three days in the shop,With courtesy car & the result looked new,I dont know wat the dealerships are like elsewhere but the example expressed by my dealership,if they damage(intentionally Or not) ur car..they fix it..with full apology...flowers the whole nine yards ..Good luck hope they do the right thing

  17. I sell everthing from the Ryco to the Purolator series, even the AC delco alternatives..Mechanics & franchisees alike have used them to do genuine services on every make & model,Purolator in our point of view, are a great economy filter but compared to Ryco,Ac delco even the geniune filter are a better way to go qualitywise & durability,Personally ive never used anything other than geniune Cheap is good, but when it comes to looking after certain aspects on my car there are some things i personally wouldnt skint on,even a oil filter, stick to quality Genuine filters
  18. Im speaking in exhaust fitting terms lil fella sorry,Mines(1zz-fe)is custom made primarily(well was) made for semiracing specs ,as its still a daily driver ive kept the cat,ive personally made exhausts for 3SGTEs,V8s & WRXs,all differ from cat/No cats ,The point i was making its does need back pressure ,its not a huge amount enuff for u to feel the difference, but enuff to equalise itself pressure wise in the system,it does matter wat muffler u install in the rear ,a baffled or chambered muffler is recommended (cheers silva) pls dont confuse
  19. Its anonymous, ive got a lil more that pops, somtimes it crackles but its all healthy,U do get it more using Ultimate 98 (good point lads i didnt even notice that)..with a good complete exhaust system & matching intake ive been told its inevitable.....oh well
  20. being a admirer of japanese style & detail, from cars to lifestyle......folding just seems so satisfying & remedial hahhahaha folder and proud of it
  21. Ide like to extend a merry christmas & a safe & prosperous new year to all TOCA members all across ths beautiful brown country of ours,Ide like express gratitude to the members that have corresponded with me personally & have exchanged positive info in regards to our love for our cars & look forward to more exchanges in the future. Stay safe,Drive safe & warmest wishes to you and all our families..take care From Bozurolla "the madness from the West"
  22. Recommend only using 2 1/4 tubing & cuple of stops or resistance points in between before ur own choice of muffler in the end,Using a 2 1/2 system from experience there was no back pressure & a noticable loss of power,Ide wouldnt remove the cat,By law its there for a reason & it also acts as resistance in flow, which is needed in a good exhaust system, the step up in sizes ive never seen been done before so no input for that..good luck
  23. Cocos Malay..Born Christmas island..grew up eighteen years in an ole dusty town called Port hedland moved to Perth,I hope theres a islander TOCA member(s) out there..pure aussie bred,No preservatives maybe a lil soy & BOk choi....cant beat a meat pie hahahah
  24. Agreed with the boyos,The genuine coolant isnt only recommended, but toyota make one the best coolants on the market today,I work for an automotive reseller, ive sold eveyrthing to Tectaloy to the genuine Holden & Ford coolant, luckly for me the late apollos are still using the toyota coolants,I recommend never ever touch aftermarket coolants theyre never on par with the real deal...stay with the genuine ,a lil pricier but ur paying for a quality product..
