  1. From memory the engine bay in a 1zzfe has a little more room, I have made some rough measurements and I know the radiator will get in the way and I will possibly have to move the ABS units back towards the firewall. Expensive exercise, maybe...bit it would be fun if I can pull it off. yes..............fun lol
  2. ide go there to get a picture of that stealth fighter of yours first northy then 'those' specimens ..
  3. The Rotrex was my choice after looking at the TRD & Jackson chargers,it seemd a lil easier to mount,i was planning to go in my 1zzfe just a lil different in set ups,the radiator would stay in the same place ide stick a lil 14' by 2' cooler in front until ide figure out a way to fit a larger f****f intercooler in it,but that would have to revise the radiator support frame too expensive execise but lets talk
  4. typical!!!!..are you serious??!! Might have to reroute the Cocos keeling island slash family visit & check out the Gold coast ll :D this year
  5. Has this been brought up before?? Im currently doing the homewrk in costs in regards to supercharging/turbocharging,the supercharger option in my opinion in cheaper & cheaper to run,as the turbocharger because its constantly priming or boosting has a tendency for more wear & tear than the latter, this all matters if we've properly covered the cooling & exhaust aspects, speaking with my guys in the racing & modifications game A standalone ecu is recommended, for a piggy back system doesnt seem to cover all the aspects of mapping & has more options for adjustments.. In terms of power the supercharger might be a lil underpowered compared to the turbo but personally ide rather be safe & keep the compression to a managable pressure becoz at first, ide keep the internals stock until its time to upgrade.there is less welding or fabricating for the supercharging bear in mind how big do you want your intercooler?? and how do want it fitted v mount or front mounted? just like xoom sed how far do you wanna go?? let me just say if the basic setup is properly done & prep(CAIs,2 1/4 exhaust systems, upgraded electrical systems ie battery etc) which ive noticed many of our members are more than equipped all it takes is a lil lottery win or a windfall to get the ballgame started.. thats in an unbeleevable increase in power sounds fun
  6. find urself a cheap socket (doesnt matter what drive 3/8 or 1/2 would help)thats just a lil smaller than the nut to be removed, line it up and ..............BAM( more like lil taps an stuff) hammer that baby on,hOPEFULLY the hex would grip the nut without breaking the socket itself & breaker bar the baby off,I know its sounds barbaric..but IT WORKS (well for me!! & FYI I'm not a butcher this just works in the situtation at hand)when u use 'soft' or non OE nuts this just happens sometimes
  7. being a non pork muncher...yay.....& DAAAAAAAAAMMMMNNN!!
  8. Doesnt anybody have noisey tappets at all??
  9. Ive got a lil tappet noise from my 1ZZFE its done a good 70 thou on the clock now,In my racing engines that ive made (other than changing the adjusters) ive always put a thinner viscosity to get rid of the noise(using the thinner stuff to soak the tappets more) but in conference with my boys, some have agreed and disagreed that a thicker grade works better?? for the thicker viscosity stays in the Lash adjuster more longer ie reducing the clicking or clacking noise.... Im hoping for a positive & healthy outtake here,I know this has prolly been bought up before Im also thinking about changing from Penrite oil & switching to the Shell Ultra range..

Loved a the first album to bits.At first they were RAAWRR gritty, after that they went a lil left field, but wen Daniel did the Disassocaites i loved the sounds from there ive been hooked.. The latest album is a kracker...theyve evolved now..& sound very mature..at least Dannys no longer wearing the eye patch of yester year & gained a lil weight on the video clip..like a pound or so lol :D :D

  19. Ive a associate thats done the same thing & shes blown the front tires & killed the rims to death, without my consent she went out and purchased a set on her own with cheep rubber,I agree with Az it may be the rolling gear not agreeing with the car..cheap tyres maybe?? It shoudlnt be the Cvs,but just might check them broken cages or mounting discrepencies?? Good luck bro hope u find the problem & it gets fixed
  20. rolla drivers display professional & poise driving, with the most balanced car,we can brake in short distances & chase them ..then ..then..kick kick kick (panel work) take that bitch..what ?? kick (for good measure)
  21. Depending on how much meat u got left on ur rotor,If it exceeds the minimum thickness..ur gonna have to replace them,A good brakes specialist or Mechanic should be able to tell you where to go,If its a lost cause might be a good opportunity to change to slotted or cross drilled ( i personally recommend slotted ,cross drilled are expensive & over the top for our daily driving needs)
  22. I tried Nulax...........in progress :o kick kick.......for good measure
