  1. Yep there's a nice set up on eBay for about $1093 , using my phone ATM so , I'll link it soon. No gutter rash and came off a ford.

Staggered as well. Ford have the same pcd ? 5x114.3

  2. Yer mate pretty sure, why didn't you advert them here? Ended up putting mine in for repair paint and rim polish. They area pretty good lookin rim for the price.

i had a feeling it was you , "im located near bexley" & "test fit to aurion" lool.

yeah it would fit easy on the aurion. ive decided to take them off the market for now, might do some DIY mods to it :)

ive been getting some buyers , but they've been f*****g around with me, ive relisted it 4 times already , they buy and dont pay -_-

so yeah might relist it within 2months or so, with some purple :D

  3. I'm on my Phone ATM and can't research much.from memory the camry also had this problem. Google up Hiace recall ,to see if there was any. But also check your footing area i.e floor mates or anything causing it to stick

The sticking accelerator pedal issue did not affect any Australian vehicle.

hmmm i thought it included australia cars.

  4. Has anyone else experienced a problem with a 2006 Hiace accelerator pedal sticking? Has only occurred 3 times during the past few years and the mat doesn't seem to be causing the problem. Any ideas from anyone?

  5. Does your steering wheel shake over 100kmh? I've got the same problem, forgot the reason but it can be easily fixed.

do you have aftermarket wheels ? do you have hubcentric rings ? if not then this could be the problem .

Wheel Hub Centric Rings are designed to fill in the gap between the hub of the car and the center bore of the wheel. Most wheel manufacturers design their wheels with a centerbore large enough to fit on most cars. Therefore, since wheel manufactures make their center bore large enough to fit most cars, most wheel fitments have a gap between the hub and the centerbore. This gap usually doesn't allow for the wheel to fit hubcentric but rather lugcentric which causes vibration. Therefore, to fill the gap and ensure the fitment is hubcentric, hub rings are used.

  6. + 1 to the chip .

the newer models with immoblizers have chips , which communicates with the engine when inserted into the ignition slot,

which is like a password to the engine, allowing it too start up when turned.

It was around 1998 that Toyota started using transponder chips and some Euro cars started coming out with them a coiple of years before that.

thanks for the knowlegde ! i thought it was the newer models only .

  7. not to sure if im late , but i believe the Aurion and camry mirrors are the same ? ( correct me if im wrong) i've found some for you buddy .

The Camry doesn't have the indicator on the mirror and one of the mirrors is not convex. It's the first note that led to people trying to fit Aurion mirrors to the Camry such as what was discussed here:

Side Mirror Covers with LED indicators

Well if you guys were looking at trying, you can pick up an Aurion motorised mirror assembly with indicator from Toyota for about $66.50 + $35 for an unpainted backing panel.

All I know is that the Aurion mirrors fit perfectly on the Gen 6 Camry as a few guys over in the States have done that a while back. For their assistance, I sourced the part locally here and got them prices. Anyways, if you want to get them from Toyota the part numbers are:

    RH Side: 87910-06906

    LH Side: 87940-06906

    i've been corrected ! lmao.

aww man totally forgot that aurions had leds , silly me !

  8. + 1 to the chip .

the newer models with immoblizers have chips , which communicates with the engine when inserted into the ignition slot,

which is like a password to the engine, allowing it too start up when turned.

to get the chip in a copied key , you must take it to toyota and they will charge you from $100 - $300 ,

which i believe includes the copied key + chip .

The key itself can be a backup just incase you lock yourself out,

BUT if you need it to start the car as well , i suggest go to toyota and get it done there.

I'm suprised that who ever cut the key didn't say anything. Did you get the new key shell from Toyota? if so it will have the chip in the key, so you can use the old key to code in the new chip.

me too , must of been a dodgy locksmith , cause any locksmith should know that theres a chip or not.
