  1. Hi everyone

I am looking to purchase a front bar for my 2005 Corolla Sedan, it’s mica
blue but don’t necessarily need that colour.

Not looking for OEM either. I was able to find this on eBay; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toyota-Corolla-ZZE122R-Front-Bumper-Bar-Cover-10-01-4-04-4DR-5DR-SW-/261198874824?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cd0aa88c8
not sure if it's possible to find anything cheaper.

If anyone has one lying around in good condition, I would be
happy to take it off your hands.

  2. Just wondering if anyone was following the Autosalon magazine, new project car build-up? I have the first issue where they announce the Yaris as the new project car. I think I may of missed 1 or 2 issues in between. I have the most recent issue, 66 with the JUN EVO X on the cover.

This month they worked on suspension, installing Buddyclub N+ SPEC DAMPER all round, Model NCP10/13/91.

I'll try and get some scans uploaded for our archives :D

edit: sorry about the wait :)

  3. Still looking? How hard is it to decide on a set of rims man? I posted my thread almost a year ago and I still can't decide.. It's tough, but in the end of the day, you decide on your own. If you ask everyone else you get more confused.

  4. 5. I specifically meant late model Corolla sedans, just before the current released model.

There is a few now ... i am in process of slowly doing up .... problem is lack of parts available in Australia ... Hong Kong / japan lots of hot sedans

Wow this white one do look hot... where did you get that picture from? Any more from that sedan?

Its the Wald Corolla love the o.z. superturismo's.

But this is the car that made me want to mod my car:

  6. What are your thoughts on the TRD Muffler for the Auris on the Japan TRD site?

Basically I want a nice raspy tone that would sound good. Not loud and definately no drone, just a hint more sportiness.

I have been quoted $600 ex. installation. Will this void my warranty being a TRD part?

Also what do you think of panel filters? K&N or TRD?

I think that if the parts get installed by Toyota then it would not void your warranty, however I would advise that you ask your Toyota dealer before hand. I also think that it depends on the delear. For example, I think that Toyota has 3 or so TRD delears in Australia (correct me if im wrong) and maybe if you were to approach them they would be less hesitant on the topic. (make sure you ask the right person)

Thanks for the tip, ill ask em next time I'm in for a service. not a pressing matter for me at the moment.

Does anyone have opinions on the TRD Muffler? or even TRD vs. K&N for panel air filters???

$600 for a muffler is pretty expensive man is it even catback? I got a custom mild-steel cat-back setup @ an exhaust shop for $360. They can even engineer the sound of the exhaust, you want it raspy? not a problem. I use to think "WOW! TRD muffler! must be good". But how much difference can a muffler make performance wise? Not knocking TRD it would be awesome to have, but if you're like me and can't afford brand luxuries i'll rather go for a custom job, i heard good things about X-Force aswell..

An air filter isn't going to make any difference to the car, your just changing the panel. Just get the one you want/can afford. Or just get a CAI way cooler :D

  7. Bluevision will give a nice whiter light and will appear to be brighter, but in fact they don't give any more visibility than the oem globes. You notice this especially when driving in the rain.

Philips Vision plus or Narva plus 50 however do give greater visibility BUT they do not have a nice white light.

So it depends if you want better vision or a better look.

Something that does help alot in making your lights appear whiter is simply changing over the parkers to Bluevision ones.

thanks for the tips. where can i get the philips or narva's at a good price? what should i be paying?

Phillips Diamond Visions are the only way to go!

  8. hi just want to ask, i want to install add-ons/body kits on my yaris hatch..where or what shop will i go? tnx...

Hey mate, first of all welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay, theres a wealth of knowledge and 'most' people know what they are posting about lol.

Secondly this question has been asked and answered infinite times, hit the search button and search for it first before posting up a new thread (keeps the forum clean).

Finally it may help, in future reference to maybe add where you are from, state would be best choice to go with.

I am pretty sure unless things have changed there are no places or individuals in Melb-Victoria that stock kits for Yaris. We have a resident trader now 'Nextmod' they can help you source pretty much anything from Japan for the Yaris all the info is in the 'Traders' (http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showforum=47 ) section or hit up their website and e-mail for a quote or ask them more for more info on what you are after? or you can get in contact with Waiwong (Sydney) on this forum. I'm sure he can give you a quote and organise shipment.

-You have the OEM kit, you should be able to purchase that at the local dealership.

-Theres also this: (http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10151) thanks to YAR15

-Then you have the c-one kit (http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4532) thanks to "RuNx"

    Hope this helps mate.

Now that we have come to the end of this post, this will probably be deleted or closed.
