  1. Check the very first picture. The brown VSV should be removed. I keep the line from the blue and white round thingy (grommet) to the tube on the CAI before the MAF sensor, but others block it off.

I still don't understand I have the AEM CAI, which I assume is pretty much the same deal. I bought it second hand and I didn't get installation instructions or brackets for that matter. This is what mine looks like at the moment.

I didn't really touch any of the hoses. I just ripped out my oem air box and bolted the AEM piping in. I left the hoses in the same connectors as my stock one.

    1. This is the hose coming from the engine.

    2. This is the hose coming from that black thing e.g. the 3rd picture.

    3. The tube from the CAI was when I purchased it was blocked off and It's still blocked off.

Please tell me my engine's not going to blow up?

  2. Dear TOCAU,

Haven't updated my ride in awhile so here's the latest. I hate my dad, read more to learn why! :)

TRD Sports Grille, TRD front strut bar and AEM CAI, all stolen from E-Gene's ride :D

Monday my dad lectured me on modding the corolla, I got ****** off so I went out and did this.

custom mild steel cat-back system fabricated and fitted @ Glenroy Exhaust. 2.25" piping, super-cat muffler with a downward bent dual tip.

Here's a short clip of what it sounds like, couldn't fang it as much as I wanted. Dad came out later lecturing me about blowing the engine.

I love the look on his face now :D Priceless. I think if he bothers me again I'm going headers/extractors.

And here's what my car looks like at the moment.

    Welcome to the community brother!

How's the ride with those pedders springs? My king springs are stiff as.

  4. The exhaust shop I went to called up X-Force and they apparantly have a set of headers/extractors for the 1zz-fe? Anyone had any experience with this header? He said it was going to cost me $450 alone without fitting. Also what are the gains? With a 2.25" cat-back system already installed?

  5. I think the only movie that is ever going to be accurate to that of a game will be Warcraft. The only reason that is, is because Blizzard are very smart at 'selling' their ideas. They essentially turned down every single offer from movie companies until one agreed to let them do whatever they wanted to do. Blizzard have free reign.

Id Software were backed into a corner and told 'you do this or no movie for you' and they folded lol. Half the reason why Doom was so stupid.

Speaking of which have you guys/gals seen this?

Note: Following link is an adult movie series website, if you are under 18 years of age do not enter.

  6. Hey all,

I did a few searches before posting this, and found plenty of info. But what I am after is a pic of the Black or Chrome Tail Lights on a Silver Corolla. I know its a bit specific but I thought I'd try.

Or someone thats good at Photoshop, I can get a pic of the taillights and a pic of the back of The Goose.

I just want to know whether they would look good or not on Silver. I know the black ones look good one a black Rolla, and looks good on the dark blue aswell.

    Cheers,

    C.j

IMO all those chrome, altezza tail lights make the car look cheap. Why not go for JDM tail lights?

  7. Hi all,

i was just wondering where i could possibly purchase some '05 sportivo eyelids from?

    Anybody kno any good stores???

    Cheers

LOL, feel sorry for you, hopefully no one will rip your head off.

Use the 'search' button my friend. This same question was gone over yesterday.

  8. ALBUMS THAT HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE:

    1. The Killers - Hot Fuss (Woke me up from my R&B/Hip-Hop nightmare). This was the milestone that got me into Alternative Rock.

    2. VA-Death Row Presents - A Hip Hop History (Showed me that it's not lame to listen to gangstuh rap). The classics were and are still the best, now it's all record label created puppets.

    3. The All New T.F.U Mixed CD by Orkestrated a.k.a. Adam Bartas and Dean Paps. (I just discovered this recently, where have I been without dirty dirty electro? Music which I can out dance my girl friend to.) LOL

  9. Finally had time to get my sportivo catback fitted. Went to Glenroy Exhaust, It couldn't be estimated if the cat-back would bolt on or not. He had to try fit it for him to know if it will bolt on or not.

He fit the mid section in o.k. then when he tried bolting in the muffler, there was a problem straight away. The connection between the end of the mid section and start of the muffler didn't fit. The piping was out by atleast 10cm. So you would probably need to cut abit of the mid section off. Then there's problems with the muffler aswell, as it is smaller than the sedan version.

Tried to explain it with a simple picture, hope it makes sense.

    stivoproblemqv3.jpg

picture is only an example. So without modifications it will NOT fit.

Waisted $50 for cutting and welding back my original exhaust, but atleast now everyone knows it won't fit without modification.

Thanks Marcus, I should of listened to you from the start, now I know your not like half the guys on this forum. :D
