Damn... If the timing were better I'd probably pounce on that deal. I know I'm gonna have to sell my baby when I head back to Australia, most likely back to the N.S.W. area again. I'd love to bring her with me but import laws/regulations there are much different than importing a car to the U.S. (where I am currently). Would be nice to have a car already lined up there that the previous owner took as much time and care in the build and care in general too as I do. Either way, free thread bump for ya. Hope you have better luck in finding a worthy next owner for her there. :)

Yep sure is changes the look of the front end drastically I'll get specs of the ISF wheels in the morning..... Wow. I'm definitely a fan of the ISF's on her. I'm surprised that I don't see that one done here. I think the ISF's are a nice lookin' OEM wheel and Lexus isn't about to slap butt-ugly wheels on their cars from the factory. lol. The main OEM wheel swap I see done over here in the North America scene for Import cars (from Japan) are the XXR's. They look sexy on many cars... I see them here on Toyotas/Scions and Hondas alike in every finish you can think of. Props again on the wheels. the ride's lookin' sexy.

Hello everyone! I'm sure I'll be adding more as I get more aquainted with the site, but I wanted to take a minute for a quick introduction. My name's Jon, I'm an I.T. professional by trade, primarily as Computer Systems, Network, and Database Administrator Engineer(s). My other love is cars. I've been performing maint., restoring high end classics, and building custom performance cars since before I was old enough to even have a driver's license. Over the years, I've had several of my personal car builds featured in National publications here in the U.S. including classic car magazines, Custom performance magazines and calendars. I don't do it for the public/professional recognition, it's a passion & addiction for me to build and create them. I also lived in Sydney, NSW for a while previously and loved the time that I got to spend in your country. I'm from the U.S. and in the U.S. right now, but I can't wait to get myself back down there. It felt like a perfect fit for me and looking to do so again ASAP :)

I realize this is an older thread/topic and I'm breathing a little life back into it, but I have first hand knowledge on the (Toyota) Scion tC, so I thought I'd share. :) I'm from and still in the U.S.A. (right now, but I lived in Australia for a while & can't wait to get back there) I currently own 2 tC's myself, a 2006 & a 2008. the '06 is my daily driver, and the '08 is my custom build baby. It's actually not true that Scions (a division of Toyota) are only sold in LHD. Actually the tC model is the ONLY one that is NOT offered in RHD. It's just that the tC was the only Scion model that was specifically designed/build for the U.S./North American vehicle market. The Toyota model sold in Australia as the Toyota Ruckus is sold in Japan, U.S., & Canada as the Scion xB. The only saving grace there might be for a RHD conversion is if you could use all or a portion of the steering assembly from a Ruckus/xB. Since the motor and trans. are mounted transverse in the tC, that would probably be the only truly viable option w/o it becoming prohibitively expensive in custom fab. I'm going to read up on your country's laws for importing vehicles as well. But I can see a big difference between the two countries already. Here (U.S.), it's not that difficult to import, license, and drive a RHD car AS IS legally on public streets. There's NO LHD conversion required. As long as the vehicle meets U.S. required safety and emissions standards. I welcome any questions anyone may have. Cars have always been a passion of mine. And I've been restoring and building custom performance cars for a long time. I've had several of my personal builds featured in National publications here in the U.S. if that says anything. :)
