  1. Yup... i like "Freddy" that's a good one. Wife and i have named some of our Vehicles... but not all of them for some reason. My ol ute doesn't have a name,...but i refer to it as "uterus" at times just to embarrass the wife. The Wife's old Holden Barina was named "Barney" My old SS Commodore was simple called "SS" The new Kluger has been called "Kelly" once or twice... but the name hasn't really stuck yet.
  2. 95RON = 95 Unleaded = Premium Unleaded And there's no such thing as a stupid dumb Question.. Just stupid dumb people...but lucky for us they are all driving Nissan's. When you say "Running rough" is it coughing or missing when you put the foot down ??... or just a vibration ??? The short time i've had mine... running around town will have it sitting around the 15l/100km Disclaimer- No offence was intended on the Nissan comment... I'm sure Nissan drivers are nice, intelligent people.. in fact.. some of my friends own Nissan's ... and i do like them... well.. when i say "Like"... i mean that i may allow them in my presence and may even allow them to look at the Kluger... but not touch it.
  3. Took the Grande 2wd for it's maiden "out of town" voyage today. 600km round trip to Rockhampton (Qld) and back.. even then... it now only has 850km's on the speedo. Was a good run and didn't push it too hard ( it's still my new baby ya know !!! ) kept it as close as i could to 100km/h and 110km/h in the appropriate zones with the occasional overtaking punching it up round the 120 - 130. (did i say that out loud ??) got back home with it reporting 10.6 l/100km... Gotta say i'm pretty happy with that... still being a new motor and yet to loosen up a bit. oh... and for those that are interested.. it's running on 95RON.. i never put anything less in any of my vehicles :)
  4. Hi K-m Couldn't give you a location unfortunately, it was just a quick online search at the usual places. like, Redbook and Carsguide etc. As for the lowest price... always a tricky one. I heard once a long time ago that you should aim to pay no more than 90% of asking price. But then other factors come into play as well, like extras ie - nudge bar/bull bar, spot lights, side steps etc etc it just depends on the mood of the dealer and what your happy to accept.
  5. From what i've seen online.. the $42500 would be Recommended Retail price for the 7 seater. Only prices that i can find (again online) that are around the 38-39k mark are for the 5 seater.
  6. Don't know if this thread here in these forums is helpful to you or not ?? http://au.toyotaowne...pricing-so-far/
  7. Hi guys, Just thought i'd finally get round to saying G'day :) For the first time ever, i now own a vehicle that's not a HOLDEN !!! all my vehicle's from the time i got my license 21 yrs ago have either been Holden Ute's or Commodores. And i do admit.. it was a sad day approx 1.5 weeks ago when i handed over the keys to my much loved 2007 VE Commodore SS. But Nick, the Toyota Dealer, ensured me that "in a few moments... you'll be a very happy boy" as he handed me the keys to our brand new 2012 Kluger Grande 2wd. He was right... today we think it was the best thing we ever did. I know the Kluger hasn't got the sting of my old 6.0ltr V8, (although it's little V6 has some get up n go).. damn... it's comfort, ride and features has no comparison.. Kluger is like a VIP lounge room on wheels !!! So yeah... hopefully ya's will be seeing me hang around here for while... a very long while :) Cheers Jaydub
