  1. now carrying on, i will tell you my life story. of how my life was blue. one night i saw a mate of mine upload a photo of enkei nt03 painted baby blue for the kicks. well moral of story is i kinda took same approach for some laughs and not to mention im too poor to powdercoat so i did this. went to autobarn and bout 4 cans of blaze blue plastidip and then this happened. this ohh and had some spare black so went ahead and did these. funny thing was i had dipped front and all my rear badges but left the side sportivo ones for over half a year because well im lazy. and then this happened. yes backyard bandaid which includes tissue wraped in duct tape the studs costed me 6-7 dollars each from toyota. thats genuine for you. Day after went to mechanics to pick up his s3 that had its diff blown. poor guy so just got them to replace for me too for the sake of convenience result!! minus broken stud <_< should really get a side shot hmmm edit i got bored so the ricer in me took over and diped one stud on each wheel black. yes dont judge its off now
  2. awww was hoping no one would see this yet hahaha. im not finished yet!!! wait till you see it now hahah but thanks i have to admit looking at it back then it was vary shiny compared to now
  3. after owning it for about over half a year i managed to buy a shock/spring combo along with a whiteline sway bar. after installing it i found it to be so much firmer than stock plus it got my missus off my back from mocking me about my 4x4 spec despite knowing nothing about cars herself. the night i got it i was too keen, so called my mate and went out to his dads tyre shop and threw those babies in. thank god for the hoist, but still look us quite some time as it was our first go. Good learning curve i should add. first major mod. how she sat afterwards
  4. After joining the forums for close to about a year and after having my car for just as long i think it should be time i shared this blue thing with wheels. 7. Okay so trying to polish my headlights and now I've polished up to 2000 grit. Polished with plastX however fine scratches from wet sanding remain. Polished multiple times, let it hazed and all that. Are there any other products? Or should I go get finer sandpaper and where?
  8. not a fan of the lights but being in front of an outback spec 4x4 with bright, blue tinge HID i think its not too bad in terms of a distraction ORRR stock chrome badges edit: my car is blue and my wheels are blaze blue lets hope MR POPO dont nab me for my wheels for standing out too mmuch and being a distraction.

  15. like i said if you tap into the original set wires for the original they act the same as the original bulb. ie brake lights and parkers. i worked for mine, minus the facelift housing because mines pre facelift
  16. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/16216-diy-jdm-style-tail-lights/page-2 wasnt hard to find, try workshop section very helpful. as long as you tap into the existing bulb it should work the same way?
  17. the s15 wasnt as bad as the 14 and the 86 was yeah the rear bar
  18. i think the s14 had it worse that day, rear end was just demolished
  19. your incident with your last run i think it was, was pretty shattering
  20. hahah sorry i had no idea!! guessing you were with duy??
  21. LMAOOO "accidentally on purpose" great meeting you and duy at winton!!
  22. Blueeeeeeeee white just looks as exciting as a levin cluster
  23. has an extra 3000kw and angry monkeys that crap themselves and roll back
  24. Didnt you just answer your own question? If the clutch issue is your concern then by all means avoid the pre facelift models but thats not saying it cant be fixed. And if your concerned about issues the sportivo are about at least 7 years old so issues are bound to arise. Some prefacelift will be better than the facelift model depending on how much they were cared for. No doubt youre gonna run into issues one way or another.
