And today it got a set of new rear tires - 245/40s Falken Ze912s. Quiet tires, plenty of grip - no testing in wet conditions yet and car feels lighter to drive.
The pics are deceiving, obviously the phone camera doesn't show you the fine dust particles.. but I gave it a good wash and now its all clean and parked
While I accept there is a 2% difference in the rolling diameter front/rear. ABS is fine and no dramas in driving. I'm a fool for not having listened to the OG JZX owners sooner, in going 225/40 upfront - makes heaps difference ! Jesse package will be here in a weeks time. That was the red stitched steering wheel, c/f look rear number plate surround and c/f look cluster surround. I'm feeling the boot might be lacking a lil something so next will be a c/f bootlip (this should be real c/f - Jesse will hook me up as usual) A forum member will be helping me change my vvti solenoid. Fk I love JZX forums in that aspect, community spirit +++ Thanks to a prominent JZX forum member I got some more pointers for maintenance bits to replace.. So that resulted in the following order: You'll notice I got myself a new badge for the grill, it's been looking odd without it. The other plastic bit is a new panel for the drivers side power window panel (yes they're plastic.. with carbon look lol..)
I've come to the conclusion I don't like the amp fuse bolted on the battery holder arm.. so got a replacement to relocate amp fuse .. can you believe a mere $4.71 for new radiator top brackets fwoar !!
Sometimes, no joke - I'll look back at the part descriptions and be like huh wtf was that part.. but it makes sense once they arrive.
Next update once I get the new parts.
