    now i have the master key. i would want to just do the $10 cut, then do my own coding. Somewhere in this forum there are user sharing the method to code. if you can help me with the method its better. So that i can be sure the instructions are correct and save me $40 haha

    probably either both are interchangeable. K&N australia website shows their both oil filter HP-1003 and PS-1003 types are for the 2AZ-FE engine. Ebay Australian sellers are selling HP-1003 & PS-1003 cross referencing to Ryco Z386.....

    went to another Toyota and bought the key for only $34...good deal. They asked to get it cut outside and bring back for recoding during weekdays. Now i just need to find a locksmith to cut and i can try recoding myself!! yoohoo

    Ok great stuff thanks. I'm going to check again with Toyota if they allow us to just buy the key. Cut it at locksmith possible for 10 bucks and recode myself.

    Hi!! I just got myself a used 2004 Camry Altise 2.4L. First thing i needed to do is get another set of transponder key and remote. Looking for alternative to toyota because they quoted me $168!

    I need help on this too. Just bought a used 2004 Camry altise 2.4L. Need to get a duplicate transponder key. Toyota quoted 8978526020 transponder key $42, key cut $50, recoding $60. I am thinking where, maybe online, can i buy the transponder key and do my own cut and recoding. Still trying to find if those key (same part no.) sold on ebay and comes from USA seller, can be used for Australian camry.
