Mine does it for $30 ;) But he has worked on my car previously (replacing rear sway bar bushes) and just prints out a brake readout from his machine and sends me on my way :]

A bit bruised and stuff, Tam had her arm in a sling for a bit yesterday, but all in all everyone was ok.

So, this is what happened when I darted across Epping Road yesterday at 10:50am ... contrary to a "Left Turn Only" sign... (yes, flames welcome :D)

They've estimated about $4,500 worth of damage... the other driver's car (a Ford Laser) will be written off by the looks of it. European cars are expensive to find parts for.

I should have my baby back in about 2 weeks! In that time I'm going to be commuting to work via PT. :(

nothing, the pie shop is still there.

They have changed owners though and I've heard the pies aren't as good. The old owners have a new shop in the town itself now I think.

That's a damn shame. That was one great Pie Shop. My Grandmother used to live in Robertson. Quite a nice place.

ok, from what I saw the toyota rep do:

with new transmitter button in hand, make sure all doors are closed while sitting in the drivers seat, move the ignition from off to acc 3 times in quick succession. this is then followed by a press on the button so it can learn the code of the alarm. (alternatively the button could be held during the sequence, I'm none too sure)

But really, the toyota rep didn't charge me anything to do it, so it would probably be easier to head back down there, it takes literally 1 minute to do it, and it's not too far from where I am :)

Yeah, I had that problem too. Seems the only solutions are run the really hot air until the windscreen matches the temperature inside the car, or use the A/C on reaaally cold

We've just rang Toyota and a new button is ~$45, and Toyota near me will recode it for free... woohoo!

Tam got it working tonight, but as soon as I got the keys back in my hand I shook it and it doesn't work again...
