After last year's successful event, I'm organising another Toyota Cruise in Far North QLD. Cairns, Townsville and anywhere in between (or around!).... TOYOTA CRUISE #2 Date: Sunday the 20th April 2008 Time & MeetUp: Meet at 1pm Mt Sheridan Plaza Carpark (either HJs or Red Rooster area depending on where there are free carparks at that time... can't find us... drive around, it's a small carpark it'll be hard to miss!) for 1:30 leave time. Destination: Golden Hole (just past Mirriwinni take the turnoff on your right which says that it's the way to Josephine Falls... follow the signs that lead to Golden Hole) What to Bring: Your camera (cos mine is stuffing up lately and i don't trust it to work 100% of the time), your awesome Toyota, afternoon tea (BYO but it'd be nice if you brought extra to share with the group as well) and picnic gear (ie; something to sit on), swimming gear. Also: Tell your mates who drive toyotas... even if the cars are dead stock: if they love it, they're welcome to come along. The more the merrier.

Nah, i'm from even more north than you :D Cairns! Since my last contribution i've also added a cannon muffler to the existing catback exhaust system. It's got a nice growl to it, not ricey at all. I've also removed the "Toyota" , "Corolla" and "1.8" badges. I had bright pink decals for awhile there but recently ripped them all off. Bought 17" AME pridor rims off a mate. Umm... what else. I think that's it.

Just to clarify for anyone thinking of coming along, it is a DAY time cruise and it's at 11:30am.

Ah... crap. I joined this forum months ago and only just realised that i've been lurking around in the dark without having posted once until tonight. Oops! Time to introduce myself! Hi, I'm Maria. I drive a 2004 Corolla Ascent Sedan (wow.. it's not a sportivo hatch...something a little different) with a cat back exhaust and a few aesthetic mods. I found out about TOCAU through Camcrew ages ago...

Haha... um.. i have a "sporty" corolla sedan. Pfft. It's getting there. Slowly. It's my 2nd "sporty" corolla sedan. In quotation marks for reasons that include no bodykit, no mags YET, no suspension mods. Rolla #1: 2003 Corolla Ascent Sedan -rear wing -personalised plates -clear side indicators -sports muffler *THEN GOT WRITTEN OFF IN ACCIDENT* Rolla #2 2004 Corolla Ascent Sedan -rear wing (taken from #1) -personalised plates (as above) -2" catback exhaust and 2.5" tip I haven't got mags yet but i hope to get 15"s haha. Yeah, not quite a SPORTY sedan, but definately a "sporty" sedan. Heehee. A girl can dream, right?
