yeah i was there with the black sportivo facelift lowered. didnt end up going on the cruise though. my plates are EDM-13R

if i can wake up on time then ill be there.

Saw this at toyotafest. Not usually a big fan of chrome rims, but i like the style of these ones.

Have you got any other pics of the flared guards? i can't see much of a difference, or am i not meant to?

i think when they say flared out guards they mean the inside so the wheels dont rub when goin over bumps.

Ive finally decided now that i like the levin kit more than the sportivo...just doesnt stick out so far. Nice and respectable.

Judging by the street pics, would i be right in assuming that you live north of the river? Far north? :P

talkin from what ive seen the sportivo and levin kit is the same except the side skirts are a little different but the front bar is the same.

That's not the case.

The 1ZZ comes with a C52.

If you want to use a C series box from a ZZ engine on a 4A, then you have to rebuild the box into the appropriate bellhousing that matches the engine.

Eg, to use a 2ZZ C60 on a 20V, you need to grab a 4A C52, C56 or C160 bellhousing and rebuild the box into that bellhousing.

The 2ZZ 6-speed and 1ZZ 5 speed are directly interchangable though.

that peice of info is very interesting. so my theory is that with a 1ZZ 5 speed box on a 2ZZ would give you better quater mile times due to the fact that the gears are longer. i could be wrong though. just a theory.
