    That's not that much really.it is when u dont have much mate lol we are battlers atm , and it is when it was only bought for 600 in the first place !!!

    got the sludge part and this #ucker is full of it hasnt had a day of love before i bought it ive spoent nearly 2500 so far and it just keeps throwing parts at me

    all im asking is there anything i should watch for with thease motors like common issues that they are prone too so if i see it i can repair it at the same time

    whole engine refresh , gaskets , reshave head piston rings, and doing the big ends at same time the works

    hwey guys im about to do a rebuild on my 97 widebody over the next cpl weeks is there anything in particular i need to watch out for in these motors ???

    I have a red sxv10 5sfe 1997 camry i just spent well over 2k on it (its pretty much a new car now :P) only just passed a rwc yesterday so rwc is current and 6mths reg just paid aswell runs like a dream 17" mags and brand new 205/40/17 tyres on it

    my intake manifold seemed a lil loose the other day but didnt want to tighen up without waiting for my torque wrench what is the correct torque i should be using to tighen it

    so if i was to get a body control module form anotehr exact same numbers etc that has remote with it would that work ?

    it will be on the compliance plates under the bonnet usually top of firewall or close by it

    nope Toyota dealer cant even programme them now days mate sorry, the only real; option you have is to get the whole system removed and a new one installed which will cost into the thousands easy, i have the same issue with myt 1997 camry mate so i havent bothered to chase and stayed content with using the key , my alarm etc still work so it doesn't phase me
