This thred goes out particularly to Mr Full Throttle out there... Where on earth did you get those paddle shifters for your steering wheel!!! Want! Want! Want! Anyone else out there with info of how to install paddle shifters on Aurions would be greatly appreciated. Just awesome.

Despite the weird goings on with the dash, I absolutely love it. Although there are a few typical "Australian built" irregularities with the car. All Aussie built cars have them though.

Supercharger whine is lost power? Tell that to Kranky...

That's reassuring to know, I was really thrown off by the dash slowly coming apart on my TRD. I had no idea of the issue until long after I bought the car. Is the issue the same with the Thai and American built Camrys as well or just the Australian built ones?

Gee wizz... Seems like I'm the only bloke on earth who prefers these eyelids to be black. Even my wife prefers the body coloured ones. I feel like the coloured versions are too much of an extension of the body work itself, it gives it an almost squinting in the sunlight look, my intention was to work the headlight shape without having to overflow the body colour. I personally like it, but I suppose beauty's in the eye of the beholder. Surely there's someone out there who agrees with me!!!!!!! Way too many beers.

Very interesting trentmeyer23... I bought Miss320 with 101,000kms on her and I've done about 20,000kms in the past 12 months. Is there a specific type of oil that's needed for the supercharger reservoir or can I use the same type of oil that I'm using for engine? This is great stuff! I should've signed up for this ages ago! Very happy!!!! Sorry too many Australia Day beers...

That's very cool Kanmuri79, I may have to look in to one of those. Will those covers restrict any air flow in to the intake?

Whist we're on the subject of Superchargers, I've recently started doing my own servicing on my car. Not to sound really stupid but does the supercharger itself need any sort of oil replaced when changing the engine oil? Or do I just do oil changes as per a normal 2GR-FE?

Hey guys, I know this thread has probably been discussed hundreds of times before but could someone clearly explain to me the reason why these engines in the TRD Aurion's sound like mini trucks when idling? I've heard diesels that are quieter... All of the ones I've come across have the same unique sound. Pulleys? Design of the rotors in the Supercharger? Serpentine belt length??? Help...

I'm not sure, I kinda like them in that matt black colour. Gives the front end a bit more angry...

Hey guys, has anyone had any noticeable loss of power after installation of their Typhoon SRI? I realise they pretty much just add induction noise to the engine but curious to know some differing thoughts? I don't think mine has at all?

Heading to work early this morning around 3:30 and decided to give Miss320 a bit of a kick in the pants... long rural road, nice and quiet I thought why not it's been a while since you opened her up. I tell you what, I forget sometimes just how monstrous these engines are. Jeez their quick cars.

Thanks mate, I did watch these videos earlier but thought I'd ask to see if anyone does it another way. I suppose it's best for the filter to use the genuine cleaners for them. Looks like I don't have to worry about cleaning it for a while though.

To all the members out there who've installed a K&N Typhoon SRI on their Aurions... How often do you wash your pod filter? Every 5,000km or more? I installed my SRI around 6,000kms ago and it's been a brilliant addition to the car, it's really woken up that whine of the supercharger. I'm just trying to forget how much of a ***** it was to fit! Anyone considering putting one on a TRD Aurion you'll need a lot of patience... Just wondering when would be best to give the filter a wash. Are there any particular solvents or oils that should be used? Or isn't that nessassary with the Typhoon intakes? Cheers guys.

New member here also guys and yes you've probably guessed it... My dash is melting too. I've never seen anything like it. Sourced a quality dash mat to eliminate the glare while driving and have been using a sun visor to reflect some of the heat when parked in the sun. Don't have the courage to lift up the mat to see how bad it's gotten!

Yeah they definitely still do. I think for a 9 year old car the TRD's have an exterior design that's aging beautifully. Also, it's always funny showing people who think it's just a regular Aurion with wheels and a body kit the engine bay for the first time! Their jaws hit the floor when they see that big red supercharger!

Just recently purchased some new eye lids for Miss320 and I like the look from some angles but I'm still not sure if they really work. I've seen them on other Aurions and they look great. Any thoughts?

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum so I'll try to avoid starting topics that have already been extensively discussed. Has anyone had someone pull along side them who's also driving a TRD Aurion, ask you to wind your window down and start asking you questions about your car? I've had my girl 12 months now and it's happened 4 times. Build number, whether it's modified, any issues etc, etc. There always seems to be this mutual admiration that we've bought something rather unique. Flawed in obvious ways but still special.

Been reading through the different topics of all things Aurion for around 12 months now and have finally decided to join in. I own a silver TRD Aurion build no 320 and I couldn't be happier with her. Started doing some tasteful modifications on her around 6 months ago and was looking to throw some more ideas around. Thanks for having me!
