  1. So judging by that photo, my car's got a non restrictive, much freer flowing Y-pipe set up. Definitely a good thing I suppose..? That pipe in the photo looks like it's being squeezed to hell and back!
  2. Wow ok, would you happen to have a photo of what the standard pipe looks like? I've heard that the factory pipe is quite restrictive and that people usually upgrade them to a more free flowing system. When I bought the car 12 months ago the previous owner obviously didn't mention to me that he'd changed the pipe.
  3. Also with the center caps. Flathead screwdriver and a tea towel. Just be gentle.
  4. Stay away from Maxxis mate, the compound is rubbish and they make the ride unbearable on 19's. I've gone back to the factory TRD setup and have put Dunlop Sport Maxx TT's back on. They aren't cheap but the ride, grip and turn in ability is incredible. Softer compound sure, but for everyday driving with the occasional squirt on an open winding road they are brilliant.
  5. Sounds like you had a lovely trip Kaa. I've driven that slice of road many times and it's great.
  6. Evening guys... Just wondering if this Y-Pipe on Miss320 is the standard Y-Pipe or if it has been upgraded? I had her up on a hoist earlier today and it looks different to my mates Y-Pipe on his TRD. Sorry that the photos aren't that great. Cheers.
  7. It worked!!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! Thanks trentmeyer23, apologies for my lack of patience.
  8. It worked before when I joined 2 weeks ago, now it's an over complicated nightmare.
  9. I give up. It's ridiculous that the site won't let you simply post pictures from your photo library.
  10. Sorry mate, I'm trying to get this bloody tinypic app to work. I'll get there!
  11. Hey guys. Does anyone have any trouble posting photos from their phones? Mine's an iPhone 6 and the site is constantly telling me that the photos too large to post. I try shrinking it down under the "max total size" and it still won't work, if it does occasionally work the shots look terribly blurry because of the small KB size. Any ideas for a guy who's not overly computer minded. Help.
  12. Hey guys, thought I'd pop over to the Supra forum to say g'day. Pop quiz... A drag race between a stock Supra and a stock TRD Aurion? Who would fare the better?!? Cant wait to hear some replies. Cheers.
  13. Eyelids are back on! Purchased some super strong outdoor grade 3M mounting tape from Bunnings. Expensive for what it is... Around $13 for a metre. They aren't going anywhere. Ha! Still keeping them black though...
  14. I've never tackled taking a bumper off before. I'd love to get these shut lines flush again but perhaps it may be better for a body shop to do it.
  15. This is what I'm dealing with. Any thoughts?
  16. Evening gents... So I was leaving work today and I've noticed the eyelids I put on miss320 were starting to come loose. It took just a little adjustment and pop, they've come straight off. If you live in Sydney you'll know we've had some brutally muggy weather with hot days and storms in the afternoon this past week. The tape that came with the eyelids looked strong enough but I'm umming and arring about even putting them back on. Without resorting to liquid nails can anyone recommend a decent mounting tape that can cope with some serious temperature change? or should I just ditch the lids...
  17. No it hasn't had any repairs where the front and rear bumpers have needed to come off, but I have seen quite a few Aurions floating around where the panel gaps have started to come apart. Not by much of course but enough to be annoying. Forgot to take a photo earlier so I'll post one up when I get back to the car.
  18. Bumper Creep... Does anyone have this phenomenon happening? It's when the front and rear bumpers slowly start to shift from age and changes in temperature. It causes the shut lines between the plastic bumpers, body panels and lights to become distorted and not sit flush anymore. From some angles it looks bloody awful and you can see right through. Any advice of how to fix said problem would be greatly appreciated... Cheers guys. Ps- I'll post some photos tomorrow morning of what I'm dealing with.
  19. Jesus! The end result is brilliant though. I'd love to get my hands on that setup you have. Was it difficult to obtain those particular parts to make it all work? You sound like you know what you're doing when it comes to wiring it all up.
