I drove the car today with full oil. When i started the car still parked on the driveway, the oil light started to flash again!! Why is this happening. I checked the dip stick and its still full

I was using either Castrol or Valvoline 20W-50. I just topped it up last night. Ill change oil and filter next week. Its about 5000-6000kms since i last changed the oil.

Hey guys, iv also got an 04 sportivo and not sure why but the steering wheel does not lock? Iv actually only noticed it now, cant remember if it even use to lock at all. When i turn the steering to try and lock it, I can hear a clicking noise..

Hey guys, im having some problems with my AE102R 96 corolla. It seems to be losing oil and the oil light is flashing because theres only half oil left. Iv checked everything and there is no leak whatsoever. Its not burning oil aswell as there is no smoke coming from the exhaust at all. Ive also checked the spark plugs and all 4 are clean and not flooded with oil. THe last time i topped it up with oil was about was about 1 month ago. I drive the car everyday and use about 500KMs a week. I also fill up Premium petrol. Would anyone know what could be causing the problem?

Hey guys, does anyone know step by step how to take off the driver side door upholstery? Im having problems with the central locking. Whenever i press the remote or the central lock button on the passenger door, the passenger door does not lock/unlock. I have to use to key to unlock the door. 20% of the time it works but 80% of the time it doesnt and usually when its really hot weather. So i was thinking of spraying it with some WD-40. Cheers

The engine oil light startd flashing today very randomly when i drive Just flashes on and off What does this mean?

I got my ae102r csx for a roadworthy today because I wanted to know if there anything not roadworthy, and guess what?! Its not roadworthy! 1. Washer needs to be adjusted 2. Front Engine Mount is SPLIT!!!!!! SO what should i do now? Do i call vicroads and tell them the mechanic issued a dodgy roadworthy? OR should i go straight to the initial mechanic who issued the dodgy roadworthy? Has anyone had any issues with roadworthy before?

Apart from condensation from the air-con vent pipe, you should NEVER see ANY fluid of any kind leak from your car. In a well-treated and serviced car the water-pump should last several changings of the timing belt (I'm coming up to 320,000km and the water pump is still original), but in a mistreated one it can go much earlier. Unfortunately, due to it's position it is a bit of a pain to change (and expensive too) unless you get it done same time as a timing-belt change, which is why I suggest checking every single coolant hose you can find in the area, as they're cheap and easy to replace. Yeah thanks for that. Il have a look at every hose just incase its just a hose thats causin the leak. In regards to the air-con condesation, do ALL cars leak water after air-con has been used? I havent actually noticed it on my sportivo, but noticed it on my ae120r csx yesterday, i got a bit worried.

Yes i believe its a water pump or hose problem. If there is a leak from the water pump or hose, how often is it meant to happen? I have only seen it leak yesterday, after that no leaks at all.

The leak was just right under where the oil dip stick is. It was actually a heavy leak this morning, iv been monitoring it all day, and havent seen a single leak after that?! very strange. When the guy sold me the car, there was no coolant in the bottle, so i filled it up to FULL. So im assuming the excess came out? BTW, its a 96 corolla csx AE102R

Really? I have a situation here. Bought a 96 corolla, picked it up on Thursday. At that time there was no leaks whatsoever. Today drove out my driveway and there is green liquid on d ground. Im assuming its a radiator leak? What actions should i take?

If i had a radiator leak, will that pass for roadworthy?

i was thinking of it just spraying it black if that would work. theres also an oil leak on the rocket cover all around. how much does it cost for a new rocket cover gasket?

Ohk. Il have a look at the wreckers. What about the black horizontal strip that im talking about. How do i get that back, coz its all peeled off and behind it is just a shiny silver peice.
