Spotted Red stock pre-facelift sportivo at Crown Staff car park. Trippd out wen i saw it. Looks exactly like mine (same color n all stock), with a baby shoe on the front mirror. I got a baby AF1 (white n red) on mine.

After using my windscreen wipers, it leaves a smudge on the windscreen like it leaves traces of water. Iv tried cleaning it when washing my car, even cleaning the wipes with cloth. Any comments on this?... THanks

not that i know of, when i see big pot holes, i usually avoid them. any ideas of the price on the repairs? i had a nissan exa with a broken cv joint. cost me $80 to repair

I got the gear selector cable problem with my stivo. Rattles can be heard passenger side dashboard near the vents or stereo. My car is out of factory warranty, EXP FEB 07. I bought the car recentley off a non-Toyota dealer. I am going to the dealer on Saturday, what should i say about the problem?

Ok iv searched the forum about the rattling noise that i can hear coming form under my passenger dash and in conclusion the majority of sportivo owners said it was the gear selector cables?..... where exactly are the gear selector cables, and what needs to get fixed with it? The rattle can be heard at about 2700-3500rpm. Accelerating and de-accelerating. Sometimes its there, and sometimes its not. But it goes off when i hit LIFT. Thanks

Yes, yes and dealer fixed mine, then i fixed what the dealer fix, simple (just a lose screw or plastic tapping against something). If your coming to dyno day I'll show you how to fix it. I am in the morning session. yeah can you fix it for me. il be going to the dyno, morning sesh. il be the one with a red stock pre-facelift sportivo. thanks

I got a rattle on my stivo. On the passenger side dash board, can hear it somewhere on top near the airbags/towards the front demister. Anyone have the same problem? Is it an engine problem? or just a lose screw or plastic tapping against something. I took it back to where i bought the car (dealer), they didnt want to fix it coz its not a road worthy issue. Its really annoying, i can even hear it when i got the stereo up.

eh guys. got the same problem. rattling noise on the passenger side dash, somehwere on top or neat the airbag spot, or neat the vents. i just bought my 2004 stivo at a dealers 2 weeks ago. Factory warranty expired FEB 07. But it should still be factory warranty for another 3 months right? since i bought it of a dealer. does anyone know what is actually rattling? thought it was the cd stacker, or the panels that connect to it. but it wasn't really pisses me off wen sumtn goes wrong, wna get it fixed asap. hope its got nothin to do with the engine.
