  1. Can say there's a noticeable improvement how it drives. Goes to show how much a bottleneck can hold back & negate other exhaust mods.

Regarding drone, well my definition of drone is vibration in the cabin at certain rpms/load. This car has a boomy sound now, but nothing extreme.

With the rear section done, and rezzie deleted, I would bet theres nearly a 10kw increase over stock, it honestly feels so much more lively at full throttle, and is so much more effortless at medium throttle around town.

  2. Success!!!

After hearing stories from others that deleting the front resonator does nearly nothing, I was a bit worried..... But... It seems once the rears have been opened up, the front resonator was holding back the sound. I'm tempted to replace the last cat with a 100cpi version, but its about as loud as I dare take it without getting resonating drone through the cabin. This is the sound I wanted all along, and some of the engine burble can be feintly heard over the hum.

  3. After driving around with the custom rear section for awhile, I've decided to do a front resonator delete to gain a bit more sound. Booked in tommorow for $150.

Inside the car u can hear it fine as it is, but I had somebody drive the car while I listened outside, and it sounded damn near stock apart from a slight hum. I'm hoping deleting the front rezzie won't bring back drone

  4. Mine is a 2011 aurion, looks like registered November that year.

Dash has been good, & I thought it was gonna stay that way, up until 7 days ago, even though the car always has lived outdoors, I had it parked at a new residence for a couple hours & the sun seemed to find the perfect angle to fry the front interior of the car. After burning myself on the leather seats, I noticed the dash was liquidfied on the front edges & has been that way since, even when parked in the shade.

Took the car into Toyota, and a bunch of photos were taken of every part of the car, and the bloke commented that he was impressed with the condition of the paint. From what I gather from all this is, if u don't take care of the car, or it has lived in extreme conditions, this could be a reason for them to knock back the claim. I apparently have to come up with proof of ownership which is a bit confusing as rego slip doesn't provide that

  5. Thanks for posting vids. Wow that intake is loud. I'm keen on doing it one day, but a bit unsure on fitment and plumbing everything up properly. I've also heard there's a vacuum pipe that controls the engine mounts or something like that

Also, try dropping the rear mufflers for a night and go for a cruise haha. At full throttle sounds like an Italian supercar 😂

  6. These cars actually have a chunky burble, but u will only hear it by dropping the rears complelely but it comes with mind blowing car shaking drone as well unfortunately.

Your always gona hear some sort of engine humming with a 'sports' exhaust, but I found it milder than anything else I've played around with. I'm sorry you aren't happy with it mate, considering I was encouraging you lol 😞

  7. It makes the inside of the car a great place to be haha. Improves the feel of the car 1000x..

As per my post, it will make life easier if u get the zr6 white plug on the passenger side along with a little wiring so u can join it to ur existing wiring, and steal the power from ur drivers side. I've adjusted both seats at same time and fuse is ok

I know my left knee sits very close to the centre console, I can't remember if the original seats were the same. Just make sure all electrics work. I found with my drivers seat, the up/down base adjustment wasnt working. I couldn't figure out if it was just a dirty switch as the plastics around the base are hard to remove so I left it
