  1. Y pipe looks good. While the rears should free up the exhaust a bit, it's only gonna flow as good as the bottleneck exhaust behind it.

A single 3" starting from the last cat all the way to where it splits for the rears is ideal for for this engine.

When u say drone, do you mean just the sound, or are u talking about in cabin vibration?

  2. I'm talking about the slimline subs with built in amps. Yes they don't kick as much, but for under $600 you can fit a pair of them with 500wrms of bass combined which is plenty enough. Nice work on the install though👍looks tidy

  3. I would be more inclined to fit a slimline woofer under each front seat. You would still get audible bass, whilst remaining out of sight & no loss of storage room.

Having said that, the above boot install is very creative, nice work👍

  4. It's a headf**** trying to integrate factory amps with an aftermarket head unit if u don't have wiring diagrams for the particular car, or standard problem solving skills with a multimeter. This idiot shouldn't have gone near ur car, and sca better have there wallets open 😠

  5. I just bought the new version of the sca hud for $89. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-sca-gps-head-up-display/579260.html

Was originally keen on the scoshe version from jbhifi, until I read reviews they like to overheat & throw out a warning buzzer & shut down

I can't comment on the quality of this sca hud yet, but it runs on 12v, has a 1year warranty & I can take it back if I'm not happy so it's worth the gamble. And this new version has the ability for speedo correction which was apparently a major fault in the previous version 👍 out of the box its reading 58kph when my cars says 60kph, so it's actually reading spot on using GPS satellites. There's the expected lag which is frustrating I guess, but it's pouring down so that might be a factor as well.

As with most of these things, they require u to apply a strip of film to the windscreen, which I will not be doing as I've got the image sitting pretty high up & don't wanna see an ugly piece of plastic there. As such, the numbers have a bit of ghosting but I'm fine with that. I've got the image up high because I chose a spot to place the module on the back of the hump on the dash so I don't have to see it as much. If I placed in down on the flat area close to the windscreen, then u can see the actual screen on the module which looked crap. Would be nice if they made a shroud along one side of it to block the actual screen from the driver.

Overall, I recommend it, it's quite a cool feature on an older car 😃

  6. I got screwed roughly the same to install the mufflers I supplied, I think it was 650 bucks 🤪 but that included supplying and fitting of 2 tips. I absolutely would not pay hundreds to get the y pipe fixed as I believe u wouldn't notice any noticeable change. At least u can see & hear where ur money went replacing the rear section 😂

  7. Wish these were easy to modify like my previous falcons. There was a smart cookie on the Ford forums who isolated the wires under the dash for the trans shift control, and after measuring resistances, came up with a simple solution of increasing firmness of the shifts.... Aka "shift kit" using a variable resistor intercepting the signal. Was bloody fantastic being able to fine tune the sloppiness out of the gear changes, and the theory was more longetivety from the trans due to less slippage = less heat. I wonder if the aurion can be done as well

  8. Tried racing a Ducati diavel, & got the jump on him from the lights, managed to fend him off till 70kph, then he blew past me like I was nothing. Google the bike when I got home & realized why..... 120kw = 200kg weight 😂 sounded quite nice too, very unique
