  1. Ive also got the 3500s interior which i prefer over the 3500sl but with all the features of the sl and more its kind of a very custom unique trd aurion now. Really wanted the series 2 headlights that are much nice design but problem is they dont fit the trd front bumper which i foumd out the hard way so had to mske a choice and went with the bumper.
  2. Yes the car started off as a series 2 facelift zr6 then the trd parts where put onto it. Could of saved money and just bought a trd but orginally i didnt want one then things changed but also wanted to have all the extra features that the series 2 zr6 had with the trd engine. So the doors without the side strip a few little features like the rear tail lights s2 the rear curtain shade the memory seats and mirrors which the trd does not have the lights for the sun visor mirror and a few little bits and bobs so you could call this like a series 2 trd. Seeing how the series 1 was based off the zr6 and never carried on to make it to series 2.

As of yet the ecu has not been tuned yet waiting until tomorow to get a answer from sas performance on how much the e85 set up will be he said most likely will need the xede piggy back in conjuction with tuning the stock ecu to get it working. The headers i got them from a place in the Philippines headers and y pipe they are made for the v6 camry xc40 which is the same as the aurion here in australia. Yes thry will fit n.a they r the same headers. The company is called speedlab it was abit difficult to get them back and forth multiple emails if you contact them dont tell them you have an aurion because they will insist that it wont fit your car but after explaining 100 times that it is the same as the v6 camry 06-09 model i just said ok i have a camry can u sell them to me or not. But only problem is the cats are deleted so you will gdt the engine light come up but tuner said after tune he can get rid of it so fingers crossed. Costed me around $950 with postage if i can remember right 1 place quoted me in sydney 2100 for custom headers and y pipe.
  4. The video is in the description im not to sure how to upload videos on this if i did it correctly. Was anyone able to watch the video ? I do have the sheet will update soon. But yes before the mods when i first installed the supercharger car was 188.5kw atw with mods it is now 210kw atw. Most people say the ecu cant be tuned without a piggyback but i think for a simple reflash you can speak to s.a.s perfomance in seven hills david seems pritty confidnent he can tune the factory ecu but he will soon be installing my xede piggy back in conjuction with the factory ecu because im plaining on going e85 and also replacing the stock supercharger with the larger tvs1900 model. Dont want to blow the engine so going e85 is cheaper than building the engine internals for now i was told going any more boost would damaged the pistons and rods but if i go with e85 it allows for more boost without engine knocking but obviously i cant go as far with the boost as i could if internals wer done but im trying to max out the car with stock internals hopefully looling for 280kw atw thats the target.

  7. 20180821_132050.mp4Hi people its been a while since ive been on here just got my zr6 which is pratically a trd aurion put on the dyno with some mods alot of people have said stuff on this forum about dynos but i couldn't really find any hard straight forward dyno stats. Car currently has headers and y pipe 3inch exhaust with varex going into one muffler 2nd muffler was deleted. Also k&n intake and a 2.55inch pulley been put on.has not been tuned yet planning on doing that soon. 20180821_132050.mp4
  8. Hi all i saw a diy for this on this forum about changing the colur of the lights behind the cluster so i went ahead and did it on my aurion sportivo. Only issue i had is when i put the needles back on and put the cluster back in speedo was wrong temp, fuel and revs wer all out now i dont know what to do to fix this. Can someone please help me asap because the car is for family and cant be driving with all the gauges reading wrong. Is it something that will just calibrate its self back or will it need to be fixed or replace would appreciate the help

  10. Hi ive asked about this a few times and its one of the only topics not covered on this forum. Please if someone could help me out would be great. Looking to install boost gauge on my trd supercharge only thing is i know of someone who has a vaccum gauge but they just tapped into the vac line. But for boost yet to find anyone is there a port at all on the trd s/c to tee off to pick up boost i was told by one person u might have to drill into the manifold somehow but im sure there should be some line to tap into or a boost port somewhere on the s/c can someone with any knowlegde of this help me out??
  11. Yeh thats the one im pritty sure on both of them they are worn out would that be a reason for them making the knocking sound even going over small bumps? Also just a side note im ordering a boost gauge from speedhut in america its an electronic boost gauge im just wondering will it work on this supercharger i heard that u have to drill into the head and add a fitting or something what does thst mean exactly and is that correct its one of the only things i cant find any info on at all dont want to waste money buying it if it wont work please if u can help me out with that would really appreciate it
  12. Ok so i changed both shocks and springs back over today and its alot better but still have some knocking sounds its driving me crazy. I also noticed on the trd one when i lifted up the black rubber cover on the shock that yellow foam stuff was all riped and just fell out could that be a reason for the bad knocking also ?
  13. Yeh the only thing is that he got me to change the link rods and while it made the ride a little better the sound is still there. Yeh i bought the whole car smashed its on gumtree now im parting out what ever is left on it.
  14. Oh ok i get it now. Nah they are direct front pair off the trd could it be the lower ball joints and sway bar bushes because now its lower with the trd front shocks because i didnt have that problem with the sportivo shocks or most likely the trd shocks are no good i asked the guy i bought it from he swore they wer fine when he had it no knocking sounds are there any parts that are different on the trd ones that maybe the mechanic didnt swap over like any bushes or extra bits to make it fit on tighter?
  15. So how would you fix the struts bottoming out what are theybbottoming out on though and do u think it has to do with the spring seat

Hi i recently changed over my sportivo zr6 suspension on my 2010 and swaped them over for trd shocks and springs im getting knocking sounds over every bump is it really getting to me mechanic said change the link rods which have been replaced now and still same noise!!! I also swaped over the bigger rotors and calipers. I read a thread saying people had the same noise and change ball joints and sway bar d bushes and sound was gone. but the thing is that there was no sound before swapping over those parts so i cant see why it would randomly be the lower ball joints or sway bar bushes. Any suggestions before i go buy 2 new front shocks because also on that thread it said they replaced shocks and still had the same issue. I might just put the old front shocks and springs back on does anyone know the height difference between the trd aurion and zr6 how much lower is the trd ones thats the only reason i really wanted to swap them over if its not much might just put the zr6 ones back on and stay with that? Any help would be appriciated.
  18. Fair enough would you or anyone be able to help me with installing a boost gauge for the supercharger or can recomend a certain boost/vaccum gauge with a low psi range that would be suitable for the trd charger and also how to connect it all up?
  19. Supercharger is in so far so good only thing left really is swap over the exahaust system just wondering does anyone know how many liters to 100km they should be getting on their trd aurion i havent driven 100kms just yet so im.not sure but its showing about 23 which is very high.
  20. Thanks for your reply mate really appreciate it. I know where your coming from but to be honest its kind of a budget build and the only reason i thought of doing this was because i got the car dirty cheap . And like you said i dont know the condition of the trd engine thats why i decided to take it all off. But from my research same engines exactly besides the parts that i mentioned the internals all the same. I was going to get a trd aurion only problem family member is on their p's so they cant drive a trd so the only way to do it was supercharge the sportivo so its kind of a sleeper and tbh i have the series 2 so i kind of like the few extra features you get over the trd i already have the red trd interior installed in my zr6. The plan is a sportivo from the outside but internally a trd with the extra features of the series 2 sportivo like memory seats rear auto curtain etc. I wish that djokr guy was still around i read so many of his old posts that guy was a guru with this stuff.
  21. Does anyone have any more info on this topic? Readimg older post there seemed to be alot of guys into this stuff with alot of info but most of them are not active anymore i think the forum isnt as busy as it ussd to be.

Ok fair enough but the only issue is that the whole engine is not going to be swaped over because my current engine in the zr6 has 120kms and the trd has over 195kms so just want to swap the parts needed. It is front end damaged so but pritty much just the radiator and support is all smashed so far from research ive done i have a small list of exactly what needs to be swapped over which is. 1. The supercharger 2. Manifold 3.injectors 4.idler bracket 5.transmission oil cooler 5.ecu( not sure if wiring harness for ecu or injectors or any other wiring needs to be swaped or just the acutal ecu its self) 6.drive belt 7.vvti union & hose Thats the list i have just want to confirm if anything else needs to be changed for it to work correctly e.g wiring for ecu or any other engine components or wiring,extractors and so on ?

Because i have to organise the changeover with the mechanic before he goes away and i found info from old threads but i just want to know for sure like wiring for ecu or any other engine parts like oxygen sensors and things like that so i can tell the mechanic exactly what i need swaped over it all has to happen begining of the week. Do you have any info in regards to this would really appriciate the help.
