arent the paseo rears drums?

Hey bro, ive done this conversion into my paseo which is prettey much the same floor pan. the 4efte is the easiest one to do, seriosuly it all just drops into place, the only thing is youll need to spend a bit on wiring, believe it or not but the intercooler at the top actually fits under the bonnet, it may not look like it but it does, just remember if your gonna do it to use the sera drive shafts as the inners for the gt and the sera are the same but the outters are a different story. if you need any advice just ask me cause ive done heaps of work on my car and its very similar to yours.

Hey Ross as i have just done a similar conversion ive come to realise that the wiring harness on my 5e-fe was very simple as everything was colour coded and when i followed wires from the coils or the terminals everything would just fall into place so i dnt really see why u need a wiring diagram.

Hey guys thanks for all your support, my e-mail is jaspa54@hotmail.com u wouldnt believe what happened today, after pulling my dash out and got all the wiring ready my engine crane blew it seal so things have been delayed till 2morow when the new crane arrives :D

:) Shu ppls, haven been around 4 a while so heres the sitch, i own a 96 paseo and being a mechanic and all i was always trying to make my go go faster and harder untill one nice sunday afternoon with the mrs,my crankshaft decided it was to good for the condrods and threw one of them out, hahahhahahhaha Now in a time like this theres only 2 things 2 do, 1.insurance job 2. get a new motor u will all be happy to know i chose option 2, so anyhow i went out with a big smile on my face and bought a starlet gt motor (4e-fte), ive also picked up some goodies along the way,(front mount, hks BOV, hks boost controller and turbo timer) you all might be interested to know that the car has been converted to a 2 seater in order to make way for a big sound set up, and i was particularly interested to know if anyone would be interested in some sort of cruise were we could all share ideas and tips for our much loved cars, and also to thrash some wrx`s just for fun, if anyone is interested please reply back so i can organise something. and if anyone has any tips on my coversion could they please tell me also so i dont get any nice little suprises on my way to building my first sort of performance car. kindest regards Anthony, AKA Sop11e

:P na suprisingly enough though the paseo hold value fairly well for a 96 with 70K on it can get almost $10,000.00 ← [/ Well you have to think about it, its a 94 model, so in other words it looks like ****, my advice is sell the ugly thing and get urself into something with a lil more balls

hope u dnt mind if a series 2 paseo rocks up, if not count me in, im up for a big drive, i might get some friends to bring their cars also (mr2, vl turbo, paseo and a few hondas) just 4 laughs

Hi there Im in the process of buying a new set of rims for my 96 model paseo, i just wanted to know whats the biggest size rims i can fit, wheres a good place to go to buy braking equipment (rotors, calipers, pads etc etc) and were i can find some clear tail lights for my model car, also any help on suspension will be a great help, thanks all.

Hey people, I really want to know how to get maximum power out of a NA 5E-FE without going turbo and not doing a conversion. I know eventually Ill have to but for the mean time ide be happy with whatever I could get, I dont really want to go all out as its my first car and im saving up to get a GTR one day. Any help would be greately appreciated. Thanks.
