  1. well the main reason toyota was so slow is that the car did not work the tyres AT ALL! i mean "looks brand new" after the race Which means the aeros are not doin its job. I still have faith in the toyota engine, but i've never been quite convinced bout their aeros (even though they are in constant development). ;) they beta get some new parts for sepang!! my fav top running team is McLaren (and Ferrari :P ) not a big fan of renault but alonso is just too good and dont like honda cause they're toyota rival :P
  2. Yeah i actually was goin to head down the the mel. GP this yr but they changed the time (bloody comm.games) so then didnt have free time. ONE DAY. but i really want to go to the Jap one as well. last yr Jap GP was "one of the best". Hope toyota can do well in europe at least cause they did all their testing there in the colder climate but last yr they were so good in the hot (bahrain/sepang) appearantly the V8's dun sound too bad either B)
  3. isnt there already a F1 thread? "Toyota Formula 1 Team"
  4. Hi Guys Just found out bout this thread :D cause i have been a huge Toyota F1 fan for the last 3yrs And it was good to see them do so well last season. But i must say i was shocked by last nites race. i knew they wont be challenging the front runners from their times during practice and quali.. but i thought during the race they will be at least in the mid field and not back markers hope they will be better at sepang but its only a few days away so might have a repeat :( PS and how good was Kimi.. 22 to 3rd B) Oh and just to show wat a F1 nut im.. i watch every lap of every race (even the US/canada/brazil ones at 2-3am) :D
  5. black stivo 591 HQN i think lowered, nice rims and chrom rear lights.. from sherwood rd to indro @ 12:45 dont think hes on this fourm cause he wasnt friendly :P :P :P

  8. Hi guys (of brisvegas) Im planing to fit some Kings superlows to my rolla but not sure bout the best (price, work quality..etc) place to get them and fitted. The only place i know so far is City Suspension and perhaps repco and autobarn. As u can tell im a noob to all this... so any help will be great. PS is it a pain goin over speed bumps, kerbs...etc with superlows? i did some measurements and seems to be alrite (i dun have kit)
  9. GTO is a 4wd coupe, which is twin turbo - maybe built to challenge the GTR32-33, and supra of the days? FTO is an NA powerd 4 cylinder MIVEC engine - to target the ever growing integra, civic phase of VTEC - which is still going on...lucky for us it's the VVTI or VVTI-L that's fueling our blood lust :P was being unproductive at work today :o , and typed in ' civic vs corolla vs mazda' - OZ honda and OZ mazda ppls are crazy every known insult under the sun has been thrown at the STIVo and how it's not as cracked up as the data shows it to be! <_< when's the next drag day in melbourne.... :D Believe me i know. Im always on the Ozhonda forums, and some of disregard the stivo altogether. They reckon its not worth the money, yet years ago when the Civic vti-r was sold in aus it cost more than a stivo does now and it has WAY less features and less performance...interesting. As for the FTO...the tiptronic's are slugs and before i bought the Stivo i was researching them and there seems to be alot of problems associated with the tiptronic box and other areas of the car. GR...umm no can anyone say ***** weak? GPX...they do have a nice sound, 2.0 v6 beautiful engine but it just isnt that quick...i reckon it would be about the same as the Stivo if not, just a little bit quicker (Manual only, the tiptronic is very poor). Yup i agree... my gf had a fto gr (tiptronic) and i owned it off the line with my stock ascent, even goin uphill :P she was pretty ****** bout it...cause her fto "looked" faster so dont be scared of the ft-slow.. own them wen u see one! but i must say the handling is bloody good. loved cornering with that thing on mt roads goin 130+ also the ride hight is nice n low... makes driving my rolla feel like driving a 4WD (at least we'll be safer if we're hit by one)
