I installed my 8k HIDs on my car while comparing with SPTIVOs.. his one was more blue.. mine was blue for the 1st 30secs when u switch it on .. after that it'll go more white but with a little blue.. while SPTIVOs stayed bluish while the 1st 30secs was grennish blue. Guess u pay for what u get but still looks good :)
i cable tied my ballast on the fuse box on the right and on the left i cable tied it on the ABS pipes. :)

i think superlows on stock shocks would last 25,000 - 30,000kms
i drove on superlows over 20,000 and my shocks still seem ok.. no leakage or anything
-
pics jon pics!!! man your car needed those wheels :P jokes ...
35 mm drop for king springs ...but even with superlows you wont scrub or "bottom out" just depends how low you want to go really, i regret not going superlows hence why im getting d2's :D.
Thats a good price 340 fitted they cost what say 200 for springs?? so 140 for install not bad. Hey good boyz pretty sure donallens do it for that price too. King springs are not the only way to go could buy whiteline, lovells etc but there all same really.
Remember the cruise!! 26/11/06 the more the better!!
yeah donallens would b the same price if not u can alwayz say suspension city quoted $340 :)
i remember pedders quoted like $480.
This is a pic of 50mm drop king superlows b4 i got coilovers

hi guys, i recentally picked up a set of stivo wheels (thanx specialized32) and am now looking at lowering the car. i think i am opting for king spring lows. 3 questions:
1) are king springs the way to go?
2) around how much is a set fitted and where?
3) am i correct to say king spring lows are only a 30mm drop?
thanx, looking forward to your input
BTW: im located in melbourne
suspension city in north melbourne will supply king springs low/superlows and fitted ... for $340
35mm drop kings
50mm superlows
superlows will look better on the car from my point of view, and no u wont scrub with a full load nor have problems with speed humps.

Sensitive issue related to CES.

when ever someones banned
its always about CES
Was it bc he sold his CES system ?
-
This is turning out really well guys ...
lets hope for some awesome weather to contribute in this meet!

18 look just right, 17s look a bit small on a Rolla.
Yeah it does make it a little harder to park with 225 wide tyres, but not as bad as the Honda Legend.
lol true well im going down to the tyre guy tomorrow see what happens but for now im sticking with 17's think its enough plus the coilovers will dump it just right i reckon :D
which coilovers r u purchasing ?
-
His correct.. none of them .. just seal the ends with tape so it doesnt suck dirt in .. and tie it up somewhere. :)
-
i'd get 19's
no u wouldnt jonny :P
i would if they were light weights and looked like urs :P :D
-
i'd get 19's
