No probs mate. I know how frustrating it can be. I was in the same shoes where my service center wouldn;t even look at the problem coz they think I was thrashing the car. I rang Jenny and spoke to her one time and then followed it by an email. She got it all sorted out with an email sent to me to tell me what to do. She's not too bad. Really helpful with my issues. Come to think of it I was meant to write a formal complaint to her about my old service center. They were hopeless.

Anyway hope it gets fixed once and for all. :D

My car is sweet now .. goes harder without the gear problems.. ! here i come v8's! Vroooomz :P :o

Hey Guys, I have just purchased a new blue Toyota Corolla and am curious if anyone can tell me! I live on Browns Plains Road in Logan. Every morning around 7.30a.m a new shape, red corolla hatch drives past my house. This car has a shiny TRD sticker on front. I want to ask the owner where the muffler and body kit was done at??? It looks and sounds great!!! If all else fails and nobody knows I may have to wave it down 1 morning, which is going to be a task cause it goes so faaast!!!

OK...Maybe the guys in ur state can tell u which dealer to go to get it done. I have got mine adjusted and as I said it is perfect now. The email that I got from Jenny Stewart after numerous complaints from most of us did specify that it does need to be adjusted. If they do not think it is the clutch pedal then I suggest u write an email to Jenny and state which dealer is not willing to do this for u. Hope she'll get things sorted for u.

Toyota Australia has investigated reports of gear shift feel/baulking during high rpm gear change on Corolla Sportivo.  Our investigations have not identified any design or assembly faults with the clutch or related components.

However, the clutch pedal adjustment was found to be outside specification in some cases and has contributed to the reported gear shift condition.  Please arrange inspection of the clutch pedal adjustment by your Warren Toyota as soon as convenient.

We thank you for bringing your personal concerns to our attention and giving us the opportunity to respond.

Yeah viking!! 1st to 2nd is hard to get in .. 3rd-4th-5th couldnt even go into gear.. i got eaten up by a v8 Calias !!! <_<

Got my Cables fitted and my gears tightened .. gears go in smoother den b4.. but still over 6000rpm gears r stiff asss!!

My mate the service manager still doesnt agree tat the clutch needs adjusting! :(

Looks like I'll be getting 8000k H7's cos I'm helping a mate out by buying his, cos he bought the wrong one. I'm going to try my luck to get 6000k's though

6000k because from wht I have seen, it's closer to the colour of daylight, hence will appear brighter.

but if I end up with the 8000k, ah wellz! :)

I've got the H7 crystal white globs on .. the illegal 1z !! looks slick at nite .. cost is $100 at AutoBarn .. will try to get photos to show u guys :D

After putting on 18's... im only getting 590km max with the fuel reminder light showing for at least 20kms...

i used to get 620-630 with my stockies.. *** dammit :o

I get about 600-620 from a full tank ... thats highway to work and going out on weekends here n there

I reckon that 235 will definitely rub cos they are too wide for our cars. So you're getting 18x8 wheels? 205/40/18s are pretty rare but 235 I reckon is too wide.

I got my clutch pedal adjusted and it shifts perfectly everytime. If u take a look at the letter from Jenny it does state that it needs to be adjusted. Print that letter out and take it to them. It deffinitely did fix the issue.

hey guys... i went to melbourne city toyota and lemans toyota toay... with the email from jenny stewart and the guyat melbourne toyota said its not the clutch adjustment.. he believes it the modified cable for it... is this correct? coz i booked it in to get change since its under warrantee...

both places said its not the clutch adjustment and they wont adjust it for me! :(

my service was only $80 .. with a free black grill painted and installed :P

Hey all sport-evo speeders..

my mate is waiting for his 2005 sportivo.. he says only the head lights r diff... interior is abit more sportier and with a mp3 deck...

His picking it up for $25,000 the b**ch.. coz his old man got the 22% discount.. his been waiting for 2 months n just told me last nite his got another 6 weeks.. so cant wait to see which model looks hornier... 04 vs 05 !!!! i vote 04 :P

no just unplug it... its a grey plug which plugs in to a grey socket thing... its under the airbox ontop of the transmittion <-- i think lol  .

i drove it like that for a week.. its fine... but now i miss the beep.. so put it back on.
