post up some more pics/vids...is there any of the BURNOUT!!!!! cause after all REAL MEN smoke rubber  ....opps i mean meet :P

mate ive got nothing against burnouts im a petrolhead from way back.

but when the cops are in ears distance like they were doing speed camera **** ya just dont do it.

plus it was a toca meet for rollas not a illegal street meet burnout comp.

plus we were there to meet people from the site and get to know each other. if i wanted to see burnouts and reckless driving id go to calderpark and see off street drags mate.

am i the only person that thought it was out of line???????

or am i the only person who will speek up about it???????

theres no offence to the person who was doing it but theres a time and place for that s@#t .

plus if people off the site arnt interested in seeing that type of stuff how do you expect to have meets no one will turn up.

    true to that!

    i agree... B)

  5. hey guys, i noticed a scratch on my passenger side seat of my stivo, kind of like when you rake something and it tears (i'm bad at explanations)... well anyway, is there any way i can repair it? i'm thinking of going back to toyota to try and replace the seats as they both have creases and the bases are a bit stretched.

anyone ever experienced anything like this?

yeah my passenger seat has a scratch accross the seat as well i know what u r talking about ... its like the leather has been torn inside ...

any1 have any recommendations on how to fix this? i dout it is fixable.

  6. hi guys.

this is my first post haha

im having problems with my wheels.

theres a big gap between my tires and the body.

    what should i do?

drop it down more or get bigger tires?

    any suggestions?

p.s my cars already been dropped 35mm

Even if u drop it 50mm like myself the gap is still huge ... sometimes i look at it.. it looks like bloody stock ... dunno why on other cars wen they drop it 35mm it looks heaps good.

  7. I've rang around the other day inquring about Nankang tires and they had told me that these tires are not rotatable and that it weighs more den all the other brands. So guys beware... <_< ... Falkens is the next brand up for quality and pricing.

  8. get the wheels/tyres balanced to 120 km/h

Like what Dylan said, get a on-car electronic wheel balance done. Also check the hub rings are there, if all fails check the brakes. After my front brakes were removed to get the discs machined, the steering wheel wobbling improved 100% between 110-130km/h :)

I got dem to re-balance it today .. they said 1 of my wheels were 15mm off ... so they fixed it .. now from 100-110 still shakey abit ... bloody suks.. now i have to go bak a 3rd time?

Brendon u wanna come with me with ur baseball bat?

  9. do u guys reckon 225/35/18 or 225/40/18 would fit on the rolla if it is dropped 50mm?

If you going to drop it, 225/40/18 will definitely scrub, especially the rear arc. even after rolling the cutter. Mine i had to get it replace by 215/35/18 as none of the mention above could solve.

ok thanx.. im off to hunt for tyres! get back to you guys on wat i purchase.

  10. ill b purchasing these tyres next week ... ill let you know the outcome of it.

    $160 each tyre

big difference to falkens ... $260 each ... n falkens arent even the best!

Your right, Falkens arent the best but they are miles in front of the Nankangs your looking at getting.

I ended up buying a set of Falken ZE512's (225/35/18) and couldnt be happier. I have a friend with a set of Nankang NS1's and yes...under 10,000km's on the clock, they're delaminating also.

I realise the Falkens I have chosen arent as good as some of the rubber other guys have here but they are a quality Japanese tyre at a decent price ($240ea). To me its worth the extra $320 for the set.

Do the math, $320 isnt much over the life of your tyres. Its not like your buying them every week.....but then again with Nankangs, you might have to......

Sorry, this isnt a "pick on Nankang owners" entry, just feel if your bothering to go to an 18 (as was my case), you should be prepared to cough up the bikkies and do it right!

yeah true that i will shop around this weekend hopefully i can purchase some other good brands... worse comes to worse ill just steal BigBums wheels

    *shhhhh*

$160 each? which ones? nankang 215/35/18 ??? best price i've seen for them is $195 each.

yeah not even 160 ... $159 each at the tyre factory and wheel alignment included...

  12. Have a look at Fulda tyres. Made by bridgestone and have tyre sizes 215/40/17 and 215/40/17 in the correct load rating,AA traction rating, 280 Degree temp rating, a big rim protector, Silica compound in the tread surface and most of all A pretty good price.

I will have a look this week b4 i make up my mind...

bloody tyres are so deer... 300-500 each ... like a whole bloody weeks work for 1 tyre .. geeze
