Theres is a Mobil servo on the way up that cooks "roadhouse" style food...chips n shiet but its always chockers with rednecks :) we will be in the country, V8 country that is.

Even if you can't see it, it's best to get it fixed straight away if you only have a limited warranty.  As time goes on, a small bubble becomes a big bubble.  This is where lifetime warranty comes in handy.

It is the Belt tensioner... i had the exact same problem...  engine at low rpms.. in 1st or 2nd gear...

all fixed now though

my last service i told the mechanic about the issue .. he test drove and noticed the sound as well .. but he recommended i put 98Octane to give better fluid to the engine which might of decrease that particular sound..

i had that noise today for the 1st time while i was driving .. for about 20 mins .. :(

yeah i aggree with u guys .. we should enter our corollas in there.. saw few civics and lancers with just rims .. shocking .. they even had 1988-90 preludes with nothing on them .. a $4-5,000 can make it into autosalon .. why not a $25000 car!
