  1. joeyee u wana post up the scans? i m from hk and i m interested in reading it
  2. L've never leave both but always been curious about damaging if putting handbrake after P
  3. Hi all, Just have a general question will putting the car in P gear before pulling the hand brake damage the car?? i have accidently done it twice in hurry
  4. nah i think he's talking about the bulbs that draw 100W and output like 130-155W or something.. the 55W that output 100W don't need relays don't quote me on this, but i think you'll be better off with HID's since you have projectors in your 07 corolla! the light output will be much better... is there any actual rule in nsw about HID, i saw a post here somewhere before it needs auto headlight washer and auto levelling for proper HID legal installation..and getting those HID conversion would kill teh warranty doesnt it?
  5. are u guys talking about those 55w super white xenon bulb that produces 100w?? i am thinking to fit those in to 07corolla aswell, but not sure if it will damage the headlights or is those HID conversion kit better since the 07 rolla has projector lens??
  6. Heres what i think, first they release the aurion, ok, fair enought, i see the point for competing with commodores and falcons then 2nd model Hilux??? Why??, they could have picked something like e Rav4 for the 4wd drive and that would be kick****... i doubt they can offically bring a blade in, when something is japan only, then its offically japan only unless u private import. i agree the third model should be a TRD corolla AWD, i m sure it would compete with the MPS, and WRX, the new wrx isnt too appealing already. the current levin models are not that great in power i reckon but interior and exterior have improved. all they need to do is to TRD power it.
  7. Last time I checked, they discontinued the VVTL-i 1.8L engined vehicles because they weren't going to meet emissions requirements. Is it true that the car also has alot of issues and problems?
  8. I wish they gave me a ZR with optitron and HIDs and various other cool stuff. But its just an SX with a red ZR badge. But thats a nice little extra already..hahah saw a couple of car with ZR badge today in the city but i cant see inside the dash wheather they have optitron or it just another misbadged car. Toyota probably ran out of badges..lol
  9. i see, Thanks Gipper, that makes sense. What was the reason for discontinue of sportivo anyway? so anyone know about the badge thing?. Were there a proper SX badge or all Levin wears the ZR badge?
  10. thanks guys that makes sense only having beep only with a reverse sensor
  11. okok, makes me feel better about the badge, i though i saw a SX badge before but mine bares a ZR
  12. Hi all, Have some doubts about my 07 corolla levin sx. I was reading through the manual and it says theres a warning beep when you shift your gear to reverse but i dont hear anything on my car. Called the dealer today they said it shouldn't have it and thats a standard for overseas model. So just wanna see if anyone with the new corolla notice anything. The no beep doesnt bother me but its a good signal of whether the car could have faulty parts. Thanks Also, i just notice my car wears a LevinZR badge after driving for weeks. Weird. Does all the SX have the ZR badge on the rear?
  13. Well we have had our new 07 Corolla for about a month and a bit now, the average we get according to the meter is 9.2L/100km icic, i hope it will go down in a few weeks time of mine Anyway, is your instant fuel consumption showing anything? it just has a ------- on my one, how does that thing work? No idea either, I was checking it today and it was ---------. However, it was at a stop light, so chances are it was because it was stopping and it can't measure instantaneous fuel economy. The Camry V6 shows 99.9L/100km! when stationary. I'll check it some time when moving. We commonly only keep the trip computer on one of two things - range or external temperature. I drove today with the instant fuel consumpt, yeh, it was only ---- when i was stationary, lol! could have figure that out, yeh, theres a slight delay when u hit the pedal before it shows up

  15. real nice, not the stickers though
  16. Which salesman you were talking to? I got my Corolla at parra and i was lucky to be treated by the best salesman, working out a best deal in town. And that nice bloke is the TRD salesman now named on trd site. So i suggest you walk back in Terry Shields and look for Gene. He'll take care of you. I believe theres a few idiots in that store when i went there and my salesman was not in. But i believe all stores are like that, its just a matter of luck. And pick a friendly guy when u walk in to a dealer.. LOL. funny you had to pick your car and pick up salesman, but thats the way how it works if you want a deal
  17. oh well, sydney city traffic in the 8am/9am morning, you can imagine..lol! also, i'm trying to drive pretty careful during the brake in period, I just have the Levin SX, it still has the computer readings but just on a little LCD display..i believe this feature is on the accent aswell, ...the ZR's Optitron is really nice, but bit too pricy, if anyone can afford the extra $4000, the Optitron, HID, smart entry, climate control a/c and various other cool features are real nice touch... So you wanted a Manual Sedan?
  18. Hi all, i m new to this board Just got my 07 corolla for about a week the meter so far shows 10.3L/100km 23km/hr avg city and few 70km/hr highway driving is this normal??
