-
I dont like throw overs. They look like putting a piece of cloth on the seat. Making it look like tables..lol. I like something thats fit to size.
-
yeh, mine doesnt have side airbags
just the front ones
But i m not sure what sizes are suitable for it

Unfortunately auto as mum would be driving the car aswell sometimes.
Woh ,27000 for an auto??? thats a really good price i reckon. Drive away prices?? I got my SX for almost 29500.

Hi all,
I m currentyly looking for some seat covers for 07 rolla's front bucket seat. Does anybody know what sizes??
I brought one today and its too small to fit. Have to refund it tomorrow.
Also, does anyone know how much the toyota original seat cover cost?
-
omg, where did u park? which area?
-
Bought it for $27,000 due to a relative working in toyota which gave us a massive saving of around 5k. Ordered the corolla in graphite with sunroof which made us have to wait for a month for it. So by Saturday ill have pics of it and hopefully join in some meets to see wat i can do with this poket rocket lol. But what i really want to do with it is add a bigger spoiler as the original seems to small.
woh
really good price, I have the graphite colour too. Is yours manual or auto?
-
congrats!
may i ask how much your score it for?
Check out this link for stuff btw

Thanks for the replies guys
Any idea if I can get the glass one installed after market? I just hate having to remove the thing every time i take my car through a car wash cause I always forget to put it back on
BTW, anyone have subs etc installed? I am thinking a mono-bloc for my current 12' sub, and another 6 channel for the speakers. I was wondering if one could install a set of 6x9 's or even 7x10 's on the parcel tray. Not sure how it'll work with the wiring etc
no idea about the glass antenna.
no idea about subs too. I personally dont like installing sound system in cars. They always sounded muddy, boxed, enclosed and can never project the true sound.

hatch is ddifferent to sedan. I wish they had glass aerial in hatch too
-
yeh, the speakers & 6 stacker aint bad. At first its pretty weird caz the speakers seem to stick to treb. Or i should say lot of clarity. Then lot of bass can be heard clearly and non distorted. And its on neautral settings.
As for the antenna, toyota Japan offers a short folding atenna which looks very cool. But not the price. Not much aftermarket stuff out there for 07 model yet.

Roughtly $100au just for that antenna.

Just an update,
I have tried what the toyota technician suggested. Park without a handbrake. And after parking 2 nights without setting the handbrake and test drive midnight. The squealing noise is still around. That eliminates the chances of handbrake problem.
It something wrong right down to the brakes now. In to toyota with my test results tomorrow.
-
Its painful and time consuming to figure out how to put your hands in that narrow place. I took it to toyota and they did it for me.
-
The slow car could be the one placing cameras allow the way? or making things are going smooth?
hehe
-
came back from toyota again.
They cant fix it. theres another guy with the same model and same problem. couldnt get it fix too.
But we have narrow it down to wheel brakes or handbrakes. Which is obvious in the first place. And it took 3 times.
We ourselves have to find out the problems ourself before they can do anything...One of the technician suggested to park without setting the handbrake to see if that stops it.

The squeal is still around
Definite its coming from the back wheel
Definite is something to do with the wheel because how fast the wheel spins, how fast the squeal repeats.
What should i do?
sound like the brakes or could be hand brake as some one mentioned above.. might be someting stuck in there?
I m going back to toyota today.
I m gettign feed up with this ****.

I had the exact same problem with my 07 Corolla... took it to the dealer and told them that it sounded like as if the belt was slipping on startup, especially in the cold. A little adjustment here and there and some lubricant removed the noise completely.
Been on the UK TOC. Few other auris owners got this problem too. Its a common one i think.
Is your noise coming from the front of rear?
-
If it was the drive belt (timing belt or accessories?), why the hell did you think it was coming from the rear of the car?
OR
If the noise is coming from the rear of the car, why do Toyota think it's something in the engine bay
I m 200% sure that its coming from teh rear. I have a musician ears so its not hard to pick out directions by sound.
I dont know why they needed to adjust the belts.
I m starting to feel the hopelessness of toyota people...
But lets see if the noise is coming back within a week time.
-
Just got my car back from toyota. Had to leave it overnight since the first time they cant hear anything.
They told me they adjusted the drive belt. But i gotta wait til later tonight to see if the problem is still here.
So what is the drive belt? Isnt it that weird to a new car that needs drive belt adjustment so early???
-
There really isnt much 07 corolla stuff out there yet other then whats available from toyota and TRD japan.
Also, hvnt been paying attention to dash mat anyway
-
I've scratched mine too. Have't replaced it yet. It will cost about $75 from toyota and just screws on with about 3 or 4 screws. Shouldn't be too hard.
I dont even know if it needs screws. It just seems to snapped on to the bumper.
I'll leave it there for now. Just as long as that plastic part is replaceable. I feel better. lol
I dont know if its the car's design. The height is not low at all but still it is very easy to scratch that skirt part.
stolen side skirts :(
