Spotted a facelift sportivo with rims and black clear tail lights parked on Ware Street Fairfield near ANZ on Saturday around 12ish...i parked next to you...hehe

I'm from western sydney area....i would be interested in the group buy but i would like to know where do you guys get them installed and for how much? if i did purchase one i would rather get someone that has done it before on another members sportivo. if prices for installation are decent i would be in for the group guy.....also how much roughly has the cai including shipping been?....cheers stephen

sounds like my mate. Did it have black mesh rims? Sticker on the rear window? I did have black mesh rims but didnt get to see the rear window.... Also spotted today on the way home in fairfield the same silver spotivo with silver rims at the front and black rims at the back....or vise versa...

Spotted a black facelift sportivo, lowered, stock on cumberland hwy this afternoon around 2:30ish...stopped at the lights and asked him if he was from this forum...and im pretty sure he said yes....hes from wetherill park....then he hit lift at the lights :)

Spotted a black pre facelift sportivo in wentworthville cnr great western hwy near hungry jacks...chick driver too :)

Spotted a silver corolla with sportivo skirts...wasnt sure if it was sportivo or not as it didnt look like it had a sportivo exhaust....silver with clear tail lights and silver tint...had black rims at the front and silver rims at the back....with plates DUM:81Y i think.....anyone from here?

So what's the problem? Let it run for 5 minutes and then drive it (when the sucking noise stops). It won't be cold then I was under the impresssion letting your car idle on start up clogs your engine with ****, and that gentle driving till the car reaches the right temp is the best bet I too was under that same impression that you should jsut gentle drive until it reaches normal driving temp....but i would strongly say its not just in sportivos....you will find it in most cars that if you just start it and thrash it...it will bunny hop for sure.....my 2 cents..

Spotted a red pre facelift sportivo parked on Norton Street Leichhardt on Friday night with 5 spoke silver rims.....also spotted a white facelift sportivo with a sunroof on Warringa Road going west on Saturday afternoon around 6ish....don't see much sportivos with sunroofs...are they the upgraded versions of the facelift? did toyta release sportivos with sunroofs....nice car though..

The drive by of the car was sweet....really it was quick but when they shot in the cabin of the lambo...if you notice the light poles on the side of the freeway...it doesn't look like he is going pass the post that quick....i dunnoe...could just be how i looked at it...

Spotted a black pre facelift sportivo on the cumberland highway yesturday afternoon around 5ish going towards westmead. Had plates [2ZZ:123] or something.....nice car with jdm tail lights, rims and some trd decals....spoke to him and im pretty sure he said he was from this forum...

Spotted a silver pre facelift corolla on chuch street parramatta going towards westfields....had aftermarket lights....rims...some decals on the skirts and a chick driver too ;-).........twas on wednesday morning around 1130ish

Spotted Black Sportivo with bronze rims on hume highway warwick farm at around 2ish going towards liverpool.....also a Black Pre Facelift Sportivo spotted at the Woodcroft shops car park at around 5ish with the plates [TH30RY] or something...lowered on stock rims... = )

I wouldnt say a V6 FWD auto corolla would compete with the AWD MPS and WRX...but id say if Toyota released a TRD spec of the corolla it would be the sportivo shell with supercharged 1.8l, economical still 1.8l, quick, luxury, 4 door.....its the complete deal...people want cars they can still drive to the shops...not like wrx where u have to have dinner while watchin the car in the street......DO IT TOYOTA...DO IT...my 2 cents....stephen

Hi Sportivo...i havent owned a evo6 but i have owned a boosted lancer cc with gsr engine and boosted satria gti with evo engine...now got a 05 sportivo ..... service repair and maintenance on turbo charged cars (spesh the evo) cost $$...i found it that i would have to do oil change and services every 2.5 - 5kms as it was very tempting to gun the car at every set of lights...also you do get tempted to add more to the engine bay...bov, fmic, pod filter...these things add up, and then you have the engine management system with temptations to have turbo timer, boost gauge, boost controller...heheh the list goes on...but now ive got the stivo, im happy that i can still give it a punch and just stop and turn it off....not needing to wait for the turbo to cool down......and im glad i can park it at the shops (still a corolla) not like and evo where you have to be cautious on where you leave it....at the end of the day its up to you if it suits you....the sportivo's got it all i reckon...looks, power, comfort....good luck anyways...stephen

Hi guys......i'm pretty sure super lows are not illegal (my brother in law has them)...pretty sure super lows are 2" all round so it should be fine. Oh and CAI is illegal...thats just like slapping a Pod filter on....illegal because it does not fall in the regulations of emission levels...if a cop pulls you over and see's a pod filter....most cases he will defect you and send you to the EPA who will then thoroughly inspect the car before they clear it....it sucks but yeh...Unless the CAI is engineered....speak to a engineer that is listed on the RTA website...cheers, stephen

Any ideas on which insurance company's would cover this...i dunt know if it has 100 mm clearence either front or back...im pretty sure ive got that clearence but i was lookin at putting a rear skirt on....now that will make the clearence lower....
