  2. Thats the new owner of that corolla. Old owner now drives a MPS B) MPS FTW!!! i still see the RO11AR everyday on way to work, brings a tear to my eye everyday LOL.. MPS is an amazing car to drive though and ive always wantd one, but i do miss that sweet, sweet sound of lift :D Oh and spotted a pre-facelift white sportivo, very lowered with gold rims on way to work this morning on the M5. Very nice ride...

  4. Hey guys, found this on boostcruising which led me to http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/mma.cfm?go...1685&page=1 Its a good read especially if your bored at work etc. It is addictive though lol.. anyways, enjoy. Oh and the posts that your looking for are by solaris.. goes all the way to page 30something :o
  5. I would recommend just cutting your springs LOL nah, maybe just go for those koni adjustable with king super lows or something... What does everyone else think??
  6. turned out to be a good night, lol i did struggle to keep up to the guys up front on cusco's through those twisties though should do something similar for next meet up.
  7. thanks for the help guys, just one more question.. Rollamods, how do i take the stud out? Is this something i can do at home with basic tools or should i take it to suspension specialist to get done?
  8. UPDATE: Had my car checked out at pedders today and they performed a 28 point safety check... The rear castor bushings are torn on both sides at the front of the car. They said it will cost $1100 to replace as the have to replace the whole rod because you cant just replace the bushings... I took it to toyota and am going to try get them replaced under warranty but they say because it has pedders springs that it voids warranty. When i bought the car it already had the pedders springs in it which i wasnt aware of and they didn tell me. I explained that i purchase the car from them as a Toyota Owned Vechile and that it was owned by one of the managers at toyota so if it voids warranty then why did he put the springs in??? They said the will look at it next week but still doubt if they will replace under warranty. Should i expect this to be replaced under warranty or are they right with denying it??
  9. Yes the rear rock is the way go, I agree.????????? Haha, someones using babel fish. Rock in German (pronounced 'ruuke' [i have no accented o's to use]) apparently means 'skirt' according to my German dictionary. Ja! If I'm wrong, then I'm throwing this thing out the window. lol ja benutzte ich einen anderen Übersetzer, aber dieser Babel Fisch man ist alot besser. anyways back to topic
  10. Yes the rear rock is the way go, I agree.?????????

  14. i just took some photos of it then... I never really noticed any noise though.. I am guessing they were reset.. I think they heat the spring and its compressed?? Its seems pretty hard at the back but nothing major. I have also noticed the car seems to get bodyroll with very small turns, as in theres a bit of freeplay before the suspension feels stiff.. It feels normal on sharper/bigger turns but feels loose on smaller turns. Im really thinking about just getting coilovers and seeing if that fixes anything...
  15. thanks for your help SB I checked everything i could think of over the weekend.. And checked some more yesterday.. There is no leaks visible in any of the shocks. I also checked if the springs were sitting correctly, as far as i can see they are, it looks as if they have wrapped wire around the top part of the spring to the strut so that it sits in place? Everything seemed tight, i checked rear sway and front strut tightness and any nuts i could see associated with suspension.. i took the car back to bob jane and got the wheel alignment done again and they said there were no problems.. I was going to go to pedders and get them to check everything and see if they knew the problem but i ran out of time and didn end up getting there..Tyre pressures were also checked and were normal (36psi) once again thanks for helping me out
  16. im 20 now :( starting to feel so old....
  17. the springs are pedders sport riders so i am guessing 2inch drop? the rear was then compresses a further 1/2inch or maybe even 1inch i got it done straight after i bought the car without researching the effects of doin this... however i didn think the shocks would be stuffed as they have only been lowered for about 25,000kms i also dont think it would be the tyres as it happened to both my old and my new, it is still on stock sportivo rims. i only installed the strut and sway about 2000kms ago, the car felt great for a while after that but recently out of nowhere started acting the way it does now. i will check the struts when i get home this arvo i have never touched anything with the camber.. the bumps do not feel that bad, it does not seem anymore rough than it used to be.. the weird thing is the fact that this happened out of no where, one day its fine the next it wasnt.. So i not sure where to start looking... would the strut and sway have caused anything else to break or bend? i keep thinking that by installing those items it has put more strain on other weaker parts and may have cause them to bend? is this possible??
  18. lol i hope they last a bit more than 25000kms cause i will be replacing them every 6 months if thats all they last.. just might have to take it easy through natio run
  19. They cost me $200 a corner.. ill take them through some twisties on the weekend and see how they go.. now i just need coilovers <_< DHC09- how long you had them for? notice any early wear on the tyres? i paranoid cause someone told me just after i bought them that they heard they dont last long...
  20. Just got some adrenalines fitted 205/50/16 Anyone else have these fitted? I had Falken ZE329? or something before and there is quite a big difference, but i have only driven in the rain so far with the adrenalines.. How do these peform in the dry? and do they wear out quickly, i am hoping to get about 50k from them is that reasonable?
  21. lol i was wondering who that was! wish i had a bike..... <_<
  22. Hey, thanks for all the comments. qkslvr, cant remember heading that way for a while now.. I cant remember seeing your car either... How long ago did you see me? Daz, they were only made out of white tape so they eventually started to look tacky, i was going to get some proper eyelids made but have decided to improve the cars performance instead, hence the new sway and strut bars and am currently saving for some coilovers.
