What model is your Hiace & year. The fuse you are looking for is by the battery coming off positive lead but u say this is removed & modified. So u will need to find where it was moved too. It should be located as close to battery as close to battery as possible to protect wiring.

Did u find the fuel filter i am having same problem finding the fuel filter my Hiace is 2003 so will be the same as yours. From what i can see so far i think it is under the drivers seat which needs to be unbolted.

My Hiace has stopped working & has a fuel problem its been stored for a while. It turns over but wont start. It fires & will run with petrol added to motor but wont continue to run. i need help to find where the fuel line comes into engine bay so i can see if fuel coming out or test pressure. Also i need to check fuel pump fuse & relay. Does anyone know where i can buy a worksop manual for my model which is RZH125R with 2.4 EFI petrol motor. I cant find anything online that has a full manual or on Toyotas website. Thanks
