  1. The gold sportivo 2001 is the old corolla. It comes with turbo as standard under the badge levin. only come in gold. A turbo 2zz-ge has been done in Australia, a wide body red celica no plate PETIR (indonesian for Thunder) got one. Power is up to 160kw+ at the wheel. The mechanic says it is a 100 percent increase in power at the wheel. Note: 80ish kw at the wheel for 2zz-ge is true, as what the mech said about the turbo celica, 100 percent increase in power at the wheel.
  2. Yeh, well its average for that price i guess.
  3. GZEBANDIT: $850 a set, 4 wheels no rubber. the rubber cost me around 700 i think. I bought it at Motorware in Clayton.
  4. I like the look of the std antenna. looks cute i think. My car looks like a fat hamster. But i prefer no antenna at all. I never use the radio.
  5. I emailed hot bits long time ago, and they said they can custom make a height adjustable suspension for corolla. and they say, every single coilover from hot bit will go down up to 10cm to 15cm. too bad i dun have the money, but if i do, hell yes!
  6. Lucio my man! HEy Shaohaok! Wassap you all! Hehehe yeh man i have been busy lately for whatever reason, muahaha! Hey man, i envy you all, i want a sportivo too! Ah well, maybe next time :D
  7. I was about to go for Tein Coilover. But I don't know if it will go down as much as I wanted. By the way, if you have a picture of your car with the coilover on its lowest setting could u please post it so i can have a look? Thanks
  8. All the best Danthuyer. By the way, i've post some of my cars on the galerry for people to check it out. go here: http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/gallery/au?page=10
  9. Reply to danThuyer The set of wheels on my Levin is Gran Turismo D2000R 17inch on on Falken 215/40/R17. I bought it for $850 a set.
  10. Only $180 for a set? wow, that's very cheap. Looks like i got jipped for my low kings.
  11. SERIOUS??? What the...sorry if i miss-quoted the price, but i remember on my e-mail it said 150 inc gst ea for super low.
  12. the standard strut will do just fine if you just drive it normally.
  13. Oh by the way, this is based on Levin spec corolla. I believe sportivo is lower due to thicker side skirts.
  14. 1.5 to 2 inches drop won't hurt at all. low king should be around 300 dollars and will drop your car 1.5 inches. super low should drop your car 2 inches, and they cost nearly double ( as far as i can remember). If your car is dropped like mine, then you needed to be carefull when driving. I got mine dropped exactly 1 side mirrors, leaving 1.5cm gap between fender and tyres.
  15. When you do something to your car that changed the way it drive, that is modification. Bodykit and stickers is more like a dress-up, but there are bodykits that alter the aerodynamics of the car so that can also be considred as modification. That is my opinion.
  16. hahaha, i dragged my Levin with audi 1.8 turbo and civic before 1000km and many more after that. Here's what my friends told me, the more you hard revs the car oftenly ( with regular check up of course ), the harder it will run in the future.
  17. The store i went to get my eyelid is N1, in clayton westall road. by the way go here and check the address, www.n-1.com.au. AU$150 inc delivery and painting straight from toyota japan. took about a week, but hey its all good.
  18. For the grille, i bought mine at Seino in melbourne. cost me $110 for the grille and 30 bucks for painting. this grill is a bit tricky to fit in and its made of fibreglass, but its more aggresive because of the pointier nose.
  19. If you live in Melbourne, go to N1, they ordered mine directly from Toyota japan and have it painted by toyota too. for $150 inc delivery. straight up!
  20. I recently found that TEIN have height adjustable suspension for both NZE121 (1zz-fe engine) model and ZZE123 ( I think that is the code name for sportivo). I contacted the distributor which happened to be in victoria. Two types are available for the corolla, the wagon damper and the super wagon damper. the wagon damper cost $1750 while the sumper wagon damper cost $2350, both price inc delivery. I believe this is a good price for TEIN suspension. contact accessauto at www.accessauto.com.au. Good Luck.
