I don't feel any loss, the car still goes like usual but better and smoother responds. I gonna change the hose tomorrow to further adjust the pod. I don't think you will lose Hp, you might not gain some with home job CAI, but at least though you know you're getting cold air all the time evertime. PLUS, the engine sounds better.

woops sorry, i was taking that photo as soon as i finished, so sorry for the poor job on the photo. But here we go 1st pic: Above shot that is taken from the rear of the left front light. This is where the hose which is connected to the air box used to be. As u can see, there's the pod right in there, exactly where the cold air intake will go too aswell. 2nd pic: Side shot This shot was taken from the wheel arch, it shows where the pod is located. Drop just nicely and sits very well behind the fog lights 3rd pic: Below shot well...its just a below shot. U can see the fog lamp in there too.

O'right, as soon as i met TRD141, I'm ready to make the custom cold air intake. Took me about 2 hours or so but i did it. Results: Smoother throttle responds Louder on higher rev Its sucking cold air o'ryte (Which always is a good thing) I'm not hoping for HP gain in here, just wanting to experiment, but the results is great! Well Rampod is Short Ram. I rather buy APexi than unipod. Cheaper aswell. I maybe a bit biased here, but again its up to brand preference, Apexi is a famous performance manufacturer both in Japan and USA and their design of the pod is meant to reduce the turbulance. Unipod is good aswell, but well I'll go for APexi check it out www.apexi.com

If you want Short Ram, then go for Apexi Power intake kit. It cost 260 bucks for our car comes with all the necessary kit. Available at Motorware at Clayton Melbourne.

Sorry TRD141 i thought u just need to know where u can get them. We'll meet as soon as i get back from Sydney. Well at least just car accept mods. I'm in rating 5 and they have no probs giving me the insurance.

I went to Melbourne Autosalon and meet my friend who work at Motorware and he showed me this new D2 coilover suspenion. They look very nice. Anyway, i look at the application, and there is one for Altis NZE121. If there is one for Altis (US Corolla), then it should fit our corolla here. TEIN got wagon type coilover for our corolla and US corolla with the same spec. $1995 inc fitting too for that D2 coilover. What do you think guys?

Well at the beginning its a bit awkward, sometimes i miss reaching the gear. However its very comfy now. My back just rest nice and easy. I drove my car twice to Sydney and I never have any complain about it, very very nice.

I find the Corolla seat is very comfortable. In fact, I really liked the interior. Hey man, no girls ever complain being inside my car ;)

Yes, i got a lot of those moments. Here's some 1) A girl stop next to me and ask, what car r u drving. I said, its a corolla. Then she said, I never seen one like that before...(mmm?) 2) Two blokes passed me by different direction on toorak road, they're driving a corolla too. I stop at red light, all of a sudden they are next to my car staring down (since my car is exactly 1 side mirrors lowered). My friend told me this. 3) I went to bunning warehouse to buy some lamps. When i went back to my car after purchasing some bulbs for my house, a couple was looking at my car up close and personal. So i just pressed my alarm button. Beep Beep! 4) Went to Toyota dealer at Glen waverley, accompanying my lady friend. Park my car and went looking for a car which suits her. go back to my car, and it was crowded by the salesmen. HI GUYS! 5) Went to petrol station, fill some liquid for me and for the levin. The counter ask what car is that, I said its a Corolla. He said, WHAT?? It didn't look like one. (MMmm?) However, there are two moments where sportivos trying to drag me. Dammit, i was just trying to have a quiet drive.
