  1. I got a new hatch garnish for my ae102 hatch as it was going an orange colour. It's a different style to the ae101 but its the same thing. Cost me $450 from toyota dealer
  2. Buy a 'BA' xr8 the 'AU's are an ugly car. Or i'd buy a 'VX' SS
  3. YRS auto would be more like 21k drive away
  4. Well it's just got standard suspension at the moment. But ive got a quote from Pedders for springs that lower it 40mm and camber pins front and rear because they say the camber isnt completely right even on standard suspension for $945. That sounds too much??? Its a hatch by the way. Also i was going to get the wheels first, so any scrubbing they would see.
  5. Quicksilver hatch, tis like they were made for that colour

  9. http://www.focalaustralia.com.au/k2_power.htm Focal 165K3P - K2 Power 6-1/2" Three-Way Component Systems the way to go These speakers would have to be heard to beleve!!!! Put into the front and rears doors Just one very good quality amp/ and dont go for power go for ""quality"" And to your question about top speed not more than 161km/hr what do you exspect from a ""1.5ltr auto"" car??? Thats like saying why does a porsche only do 300km/hr and not 400km/hr
  10. Hi, i've got a question about a rattle/buzz sound in the rear of my mums yaris hatch. What happens is when you shut a door there is a rattle in the rear left around the wheel arch. At first i thought it was that lid over the suspension as they are quite loose, so i took it off and it wasn't that. So would it be the whole panel of plastic vibrating or somthing behind? i have noticed that if you tap around all the plastic panels around the rear of the yaris they are qiute buzzy. Is there anyway of quietning the whole rear up, like by putting big blocks of sponge or somthing behind all the panels? Because the yaris's are a really quiet car but i think this is where they are let down with being quite noisy in the rear. The cars only 3 months old and i dont think its good enough to have rattles in the back of it, we would have bought a hyundai if we wanted that
  11. You should go for a YRS no difference really in the interior. Accept for those ugly stripes in the YRX. And when you start to spend a bit more on a yaris you may as well get a Corolla for a little more.
  12. Hi. I have a ae102 hatchback corolla and have got an annoying buzz/rattle sought of sound coming from the seatbelt reels (like a paint can ball bearing sound). Just wondering if this is fixable or is it normal for the seat belt reels to make this sought of noise?
