  1. I'll be watching the next morning, United v. Barca!!! Go United!!!!

    I saw my mate

    The other day

    He said he'd seen

    The white Pele

    So I said

    Who is he?

He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney

    Wayne Rooney

    Wayne Rooney

He goes by the name of Wayne Rooney

sorry abt this....bt wayne rooney sucks!!! the most overated player ever! Cristiano ronaldo.....now thats a player......hes such an enternainer...sorry mate...no hard feeling!!

  2. hey guys....as some of u know....i will be gettin an mx5 soon...coz its gonna be a softop i need to know wats the best car alarm i can get for it....plus im also thinking abt getting a gps tracking system...does ne1 here reccomend a certain brand?? and btw im willing to spend up to 5,000. any help will be appreciated

    cheers!

  3. Tks for reply. Forward gears are fine. Gear changes are smooth. It just has trouble selecting reverse. Once the gear lever is in R, can wait 30 seconds until you feel the gear engage. Once engaged reverse works fine too. First step may be to get the gearbox flushed out.

yeah i think flushing it will be good too....perhaps u may not need a full gearbox change...ask the mechanic to check the R gear...coz it jst might be the gear stick...thts wat it sounds like....

  4. maybe due for a new transmission?? are the other gears operating okay?? how are the gear changes...is it very sluggish?? unfortunately automatic gear boxes cost an arm and a leg to repair or replace....best bet is find a real cheap second hand one....bt labour is gonna cost u a bit.....good luck mate

  5. No But DAD probably can. Have a look round Uni car parks these days and it's a bit sad. When I was at unit in the 70's when it was free by the way I rode a cheap ****y motorbike. these days Uni costs heaps but there seems to be no shortage of wealthy studnets probably fee paying from overseas i guess.

yeah those asian students and their parents filthy money :P....oooo i secretly envy them!!!

  6. but i feel it's really risky purchasing one from an auction. Sure they are cheaper.

company cars are the worst treated ones, being floored to redline on a cold engine.

No sense of care or pride when it's not your car right?

well it depends on where it has come from.....i saw a v6 camry used by the nsw police...we stayed away from tht becoz of tht reason....the one we ended up gettin came from a university driven by a professor....so yeah im sure professors dont flogg cars :P....my mums car is a 95 camry which also came from a govn. auction...and its still going strong....if u get the newer cars...u shld be fine becoz most of them have the factory warranty still! also i think commies and falcons get flogged more coz of their massive engines.....so yeah i think its worth it.......

  7. i hope u find ur car mate....if i was u i would go back to the same place of the crime....and perhaps exactly on the same day and time and ask ne1 around if they saw some1 walking around ur car suspiciously...or perhaps a cctv camera caught a glimpse of ur car either being stolen or guys checking it out to steal it...good luck mate.....get the boys in blue involved....

and to the other fella who thinks tht commies or falcons are the ultimate car.....mate do u luv spending more time at a servo or on the road....coz when im driving i dont want to be wasting time refuelling every couple of 100ks or soo...i also want a car thts comfortable and reliable....my old man has a commodore and my uncles got a ford...sure they look okay...bt in terms of reliability and being comfortable....i swear its in the negative scales!!

  8. I've been searching high and low for a camry wagon and I think I found a good one but I've got a few concerns which i don't know enough about to make a decision...

    It's a 1994 CSi 2.2l 158,000 km for $5500 (private sale)

It runs well, shifts smoothly, handles like new, except:

    - mild but bobbly vibrations at about 50kms seemingly prior to shifting, the owner says he had the engine mounts replaced at 120,000 kms, and it's been there since then. It causes the side view mirror to vibrate to a point where you can't see clearly in it.

    - their is some minor squeeking in the brakes when you slow but only just before you stop... the owner pointed it out, I didn't even notice, but he spent a bit of time trying to explain it... I asked him why it was happening and he said he doesn't know anything about it, which I thought stange because he said he had recently replaced the brakes and fixed the rotors himself.

    - you can see oil seep (looks minor, but I don't know when the engine was last cleaned)where the head gasket would be. He said the car had overheated once but that it was fixed and the engine was tested.

I'm worried I'll have to buy a new engine if I make the wrong decision!

    help!

    thanks

for 5,500 it sounds quite pricey for a camry....i could sell u my 95 2.2L camry with only 108ks on the clock for 5gs (its in tip top condition)if i was u i would get the price down by alot!! i mean close to 1g or more....i would also test drive more camrys around (most importantly ones in good nic) but camrys r damn reliable things....they r built to last...bt this one seems to be a lil suss....i probably wouldnt risk it....first big no no is oil leaks!! one question i would be asking is how did the engine overheat in the first place....if its an auto(im guessin it is) and he has taken good care of it...changed parts and oil/liquids how come the engine overheated....my parents own tht 95 camry and we change oil/fluids and parts according to the manual, and i have never ever seen the temp guage go past half way (that being said we drive like grannys me included :P ) i would keep looking ur bound to find a good one....btw where abts do u live?

  9. mx6 coming with turbo and 4WS. its dependes which one suit u more, mazda parts can get very expensive sometimes.

i would personally rather buy sorer or supra. just better cars ;) the both coming twin turbo and none turbo. and ***! they both go hard :P

i would prefer a supra bt supra cost more than 10gs....gen1 mx5s now go for less than 10gs...

  10. i have just decided to get like a real sports car after i purchased my toyota (camry or celica). I was pointed towards the mazda mx5 and mx6 because these 2 cars i have heard are quite quick and relatively cheap...my question is are they as reliable as toyota engines?? like can they take a thrashing and still survive? i know mx6's are cheaper but what do you guys think....the mx 5 or mx6 in terms of reliability and inexpensive parts/repairs if they need replacing?

    cheers

    nick

  11. that was well written Mzz! dude if u follow wat she had written up...i think u can win this! i luv the idea about mailing her the quotes, it shows that u know u werent in the wrong and that would really get her nervous...dont forget to also say that you have also put in a police report...that should also help...good luck mate tell us how it all went!
