  1. Fuse box is located under the passenger foot well, theres a piece of black plastic that needs to be removed. (it just unclips, give it a little tug) and theres the first set. Under that bit of plastic if you look carefully theres a little cover with a diagram of what each fuse does, underneath that little cover is the actual fuses. Hard to miss.

And then if you open the bonnet theres fuses on the right hand side under a black cover. with 2 spare fuses. (a 10amp and a 20amp)

  2. Car Model/Year: 2004 Sportivo

    Km on Engine: 109,000 KM

Current Engine Oil: Castrol Edge sport fullly synthetic 5w30

Price: $30-$50 depends if supercheap has a special

Current Gear Oil: Magnatec 75-85 with nulon additive

Notes: Used to run mobil one gold, this is cheaper and still decent quality from what ive heard and i do oil changes every 4-5k

Possible Future Engine Oil: Most likely the same

Possible future Gear Oil: Same stuff as before, it helped a fair bit with the shifting.

  3. So for someone who has done 2/5inch cat back, intake and ported headers but doesnt want to change the ecu just yet due to various reasons, is it worth the money if im looking for that bit more torque/gain? In other words is it fairly noticeable?

  4. When my mate changed mine, (works at bridgestone) he said that he had 3 options, genuine toyota, next step down replica/aftermarket but still decent quality only cheaper and then 3rd was the cheap option.

Sorry i dont know specifically what was what, but i went second option and its been running nearly 20k so far with no issues. cant remember how much it cost total but i think it was less that $200 inc labour.

  5. Got plastered at a mate house couple of years back, we got a bit cold so we decided to light a fire. So we fill up this metal tin with petrol only to realise 5 mins after lighting it that theres a puddle leaking out the bottom of it.

5 more mins pass and we're wondering when this puddle is going to light up when.........whoosh, flames everywhere. Stupid us decided to start this fire under my mates awning, nearly burnt the entire house down.

Things ive learnt from that night:

-Salt puts out fires........only if you have access to about 2 tonnes worth of it, not the amount from the salt container out of the kitchen cupboard

-Never try to put out a fire with a metal mop bucket (trying to cover the flame) as it heats up very quickly lol

-After failing with the bucket.................dont attempt using a nylone shirt.lol

-And dont stomp it either or youll end up looking like johnny flame from fantastic four with your shoes on fire.

-Water does work................eventually........it just looks like floating fire for a while.lol

Another time, we threw a cigarette into someones otto bin (thinking it was out of course), only to see it turn into this massive bonfire minutes later, taking out two bins and flickering against the power lines....thank god for the fire brigade

For some reason, everytime i get smashed, i seem to nearly burn someones house down.........

  6. I love the sound of hitting limo, not on my car of course. But hearing some other stooge do it.lol

Theres a vid on youtube somewhere of guys in a beemer revving the crap outta it at the lights, hitting limiter for like 10-15 seconds straight, then when the lights go green and the take off they end up blowing the motor.........fools

  7. If you really wanted to get some serious reception with that particular station, you can start making a dipole antenna, using the frequency of your desired station as your wavelength reference. Then again this may require a little creativity to mount somewhere...

...and an understanding of WTF all of that means. ;)

    HAHAHAHAHAHAH

  8. Ok to summarize this up:

If someone has money to waste, and already has:

    -2.5inch cat back

    -CAI

    -Ported Headers

is it worth getting a high flow cat? or will you lose power down low and only gain top end, will you even notice a difference?

Yes or No as this will be my next step. (sorry to hijack the thread)

  9. When someone thinks hes driving a sportscar with superb handling, cutting in and out of traffic and nearly missing other cars by an inch, only to be driving a hiace van from the 1980s which is painted that old yellowy colour.

  10. has anyone installed a different branded catback.....

Yes ...... a few have had their local exhaust shops fab something up

...... and have found good power gains?

yes most showed good gains .......

HOWEVER ....... none produced the nice calm note out of the rear as the CES did ...... the CES crew put a bit of work into getting the muffler right to have a nice controlled tone out of it ..... all others ive heard sound insanely out of control when high up in the rev range ..... which althought at first is awesome ...... after a while u will get sick of it and wish it was quiter ....

x2..although i still havnt got sick of the sound up high in the revs, only down low.
