In my opinion aurion is better in term of boot space because my friend sold his previous euro model because the boot space too squeze to put in the pram (i think with a new model similar in size or bigger a little bit). I have 2 prams with aurion so far it fits nicely and interior space I believe also bigger so if you are planning to keep this car for long then you made the right choice in case you have 2 kids ;)

DJKOR, when you reach 0 on cruising range, you still can drive around 50km more? and when the fuel warning turn up, can we still drive around 50km? I don't dare to test it hehe...since I don't have roadside assist in case it is really empty hehe...

Yeah mate. My 30k service was quoted at $309 which included a wheel alignment. I wasn't satisfied with their service overall, so I'm heading elsewhere next time. I thought the first 3 yrs (or up to 4 services) still $120 provided you drive normally ie if 30000km still cost $120. How come both of you end up $300? Yeah..I am not happy but my friend still keep it quite. The dealer knows some more but didn't tell us when we pickup the car. I check during the pickup but of course didn't look in details and the car wet after the rain. Only when we arrive at home then realised it and called the sales person and he knows about it and told her to bring the next day to buff it up but still scratch. at least the sales person still honest but yeah...I am not happy. So how much should she get compensation considering need to go back and forth as well or replace the bumper?

HI.. My friend's new car corolla ultima has a scratch on the front bumper but the dealer buff it up but still appearing so will need to buff it up again in the free service 1000km, dealer said. but I don't think it can be fix unless change the whole bumper. It quite big some more. I prefer not get the dealer to replace the front bumper just in case it will damage other stuff or not fit properly. If after the first free service still cannot be fix, I want to ask for compensation or refund. How much is the cost of the front bumper and installation? $500? What is your suggestion? replace bumper or get refund? if the dealer doesn't want to either replace bumper or refund, what should I do? report to ACCC? please advise. THanks.

The only rattle for me is when I put the speed of the AC/fan very high...then I can hear the fin rattle but if you make a certain angle it is ok but I give up on this since the dealer said already replace it for me but I still get the same issue. I am not put the speed on high anyway... I own 2007 Sept/Oct build touring. Edit: does who said no rattle at all, would you mind test and put the fan speed all the way up and then hear it or move to a certain angle please? let me know the outcome. thanks.

yes that is the depreciation and it drops a lot :( I check my quote that I've got December 2007 and it was less than $600 but AAMI told me just use change over instead of refund me the remaining cover with my old car but now I get more expensive when trying to renew. I don't know how they measure the premium. You are lucky seca only $580 but if you check based on my suburb and credential it shows $960 for TRD Aurion :( my suburb is not high risk area though.

When i change over my car to new aurion touring in Dec 07 I only need to pay $40 extra from my existing car and the lady from AAMI told me it will be around $580 in July 2008 when it is due. Now, renewal policy give me a quote for $680 for $29200 value (drop from $35000 that I quoted them earlier incl child seat, portable gps, floor mat, tint window plus driveaway) with rating one, no claim before/no accident/no theft/no modification etc. I spoke to AAMI and the lady said the glass guide review make the insurance policy going up from May 2008. Is this true? Question for you: 1. If your car value about $29000 to $30000 in your insurance policy, how much do you pay the premium with standard excess and what is your insurance company? 2. Is toyota aurion that bad because it is drop a lot? 3. I found from bingle and it quoted me for $540, are they ok and safe? (still under AAMI but everything online) 4. What do you mean by excess free windscreen coverage? is this part of the warranty or roadside assist or car insurance? If you own corolla auto (any model, since they have all the same engine). Have you notice that the engine sound loud when you press the pedal? We compared corolla ultima to mazda sp23 and the engine noise from corolla very noisy or was it because the way she drive it? I noticed when she drove it steady like 80km, it is ok though, only when start from idle and changing gear the rpm going up high and drop fast when she release the pedal and when she pressed it again it is up fast and roar engine noise coming up, I think because she didn't press the pedal steadily/consistent instead up and down. I understand mazda sp23 and corolla ultima has different engine but corolla so noisy and the fittings inside not as neat as mazda. Can you share your corolla engine noise? especially if you compare to mazda 3 before. Review said mazda bad road noise but I feel corolla more noisier compare to mazda. Also, if you own corolla ultima, can you adjust the bluetooth settings, it seems that when we tested, the other end cannot hear us clearly. The good point for corolla is less fuel consumption and more functions but she doesn't care for bigger engine of sp23 but we just concern the engine noise in corolla. Finally, if you don't mind sharing, how much did you purchase for Corolla conquest or Ultima? Thanks.

DJKOR, If you reset the trip A to ZERO everytime you fill the car, do you think it will affect the avg fuel consumption? I always reset it to zero hence I always get 11 to 12.5l/100km on average display in 60-80km zone for 20mins each way. Only when long drive (2 hrs) then aurion manage drop to 9l. Also it happen once, when I fill only half the tank and reset to zero and the avg down to 7 to 8l but when I full the tank and reset then back to normal 11 to 12.5l. So I am confuse with this average display fuel consumption. If I do the calculation manually, normally between 12 to 13l. any comment(s)?

I don't think she can wait till next year but another few months but I need to double check with Toyota how soon ESP will apply to corolla. Opss..sorry, toyota corolla 2007 has 5 stars rating ANCAP. Yeah...I already explained to her in terms of handing get mazda 3 and in term of comfort/features get toyota and will let her about mazda 3 replacement next yr. Thanks people.

Which one do you think better? or have you compare it before with mazda 3 when you buy toyota corolla? Danny, do you have issue with the rattle in the fan direction if you blow up very high level of your AC. I do have this issue and toyota chadstone cannot fix it, after 2 months waiting for the part to come and replace it but I still get the same issue and then he told me yes, this is a known issue and wait till toyota come back to us and probably we will replace it in your next service. So...what am I doing now? service told me to come that the part is arrive to fix this issue and now told me to go back home and wait for the next service hoping toyota will sort out this issue....wasting my time. Furthermore, they forget about me because they were suppose to be to give me a call but never call me back until after 2 months i complaint how come took so long to wait for 1 part while I am sure toyota can build 1 car in 2 mths then suddently on the same day I've got a call. I've got the new bulb (normal light) and it is definately whiter but not sure whether or not it is brighter but I am guessing may be only 20% brighter. I haven't test drive the car at night because mostly my wife who drive the car. but changing the park light on the edge of the corner it is difficult for me and I don't want to risk it because it shows in the manual need to get the expert to change it so I leave it there I guess or until the warranty expired. I haven't try to remove wheel well guard yet but is that the one that opposite the tyre that normally has all the dirts stuck on it?

HI..when I've got rain heavily last week in Melbourne, the car got water coming in and even more noticable when it was dry because of the water spot inside. The area is around the wheel both of the back door (you know the area that they stick the label). Is this happen to you as well? I think the car doesn't insulate properly hence the water will go in, even on the buttom of the door plate. please let me know. Thanks.
