Well the car is booked in next Saturday for it's exhaust thanks Martin I have decided to go with your friends place. If you can make it next week that would be good. Not decided if I will go mandrel or press fit yet apporx 100 extra system will be cat back 2.25 inches. Or to get the Stainless steel muffler I was offered a drift unit for less than $250.

I use them all Mobil is the cleanest. But just a thought I ride a Triumph motocyle 955 cc tripple which is just over a year old. Bike mechanics do not recommend optimax as if let for a while it gels up but everything else is ok.

Insurance sorted out now. I can go full steam ahead. Can you supply details re company address and contact number. Thank god I work for an insurance company. As for muffler I will have a look around at my options or go TRD.

I spoke to the guy who did the dyno re the exhaust he said no bigger than 2.5 inches. And no I paid $180 for the brace then found out I could get it at trade.#$%& I got the sway bar at trade for $146.

Problemmmmsss the Insurance company won't touch me if I modify the exhaust. I will have to look into my options. As far as Tourqe loss should not happen as long as the exhaust is not bigger than 2.5 inches.

Illuminati you are on. Just before the CAT it is approx 2.5 inches then reduces down to the standard exhaust 2 inches.. If it was 2.5 inches back should be good ring me on my mob and we will arange when you can go. I will check with the insurance company if it is ok in the mean time. Stewart if you are going to do it maybe you should come down as well.

Hey Lucio may be we could see what we could negotiate if we get a few cars together. I want the CAT Back systems as well. I was quoted 800 for a stainless steel after market with mandrel bend or $650 with out the center can. If I went Steel approx 450. Since I will change my car every 4 years I may go the steel. But first I will check to make sure the insurance company does not reject the idea. The system is not branded as such but will do the job and is a lot cheaper ....but is only a thought Oh by the way all the Melb boys do we agree to only post in Aus owners now ? I will get the register together and email it all to you.
