    or....

    motegir_mr116_brs_ci3_l.jpg

both of the wheels cost within a bees ***** of each other.

leaning towards the first set... the fronts are 19x8.5 and would have 2.25" dish and the rears are 19x9.5 and would have 3.25" dish...

second set comes in 18" only. i wanted 19s... but they're still a nice rim i think...

  2. $60 for a wheel alignment..

you're more than capable of doing it yourself, plus if need be, i'm sure a few guys would be willing to help you out..

if you do go down that path, then the obligatory "slammed" picture must be taken during installation... ie, put it on its lowest setting...

  3. coilovers! and (if possible) stick with the 18s...

19s wont neccessarily kill your ride quality (your coilovers will do that! lol), but the tyres available for 19s in the correct load rating can be VERY expensive...

my pirelli pzero nero's were $600 a corner... you can find them for cheaper, but that's their RRP...

  4. this is gonnna come out the wrong way no matter how i word it... so just wanna put a disclaimer here: i dont mean to offend!!! :D

the car is the nicest camry i've seen... so fresh n so clean...

BUT, it looks HEAPS nicer in photos... it really photographs very nicely!!! :D

anyway, just want to reiterate that i think its a nice, clean, straight, tidy looking car... just that it looks so much nicer in photos!

love you long time baby! :P

  5. ECUTEK allows you to tune/flash the standard ecu. Apart from that, you can pick any number of ECU's that are "piggy backs" which tune them quite well.

it all depends on who develops the ECU for the car really... i'm not up to speed on who is developing what on this joint venture... have they released that info yet?

ECUTEK can't flash the 2zzge computer in the corollas... i'm a sad puppy :(

i was referring to the subaru engines...

    2ZZGE => powerfc. no?

  6. lol @ xr6t comment.. not really fair to compare cars man...

you should be happy with the times you got...

an xr6t standard is good for high 12s and yet, you can get low 13s with less power!!

seriously man, you're times are great, and if i was able to get them from my old trd, i'd be quite happy... :)

in terms of the hunt for more power... well... its unfortunate, but look at what can be done with a VE SS with a few thousand dollars... or an xr6t for that matter..

its one of the main reasons for me selling my trd... i wanted more power.

  7. jason would know a lot more about it than me, but i still reckon that there WILL be a tuning option for the new ecu/engine... it may take time, but one will be done...
