Once again, thanks to Bill for organising the meet/cruise !
Good for us there was no rain.. although I did nearly slide into the guard rail going around one of those hundred round-a-abouts closer to the Entrance.
-
According to smh.com.au:
Sunday
Showers
Min: 11°C Max: 19°C
UV: Moderate
What's going to happen if it does rain, Bill ??
-
Hmmm.. would you guys mind if 1 or 2 non-Toyotas join us for the cruise ?
-
or how about mc carrs creek rd cruise up to palm beach??
thats more like it ..... palm beach it is
I'm up for a cruise ! :) I was just up at Akuna Bay/West Head today.. (Y)
A drive with a few rollas through that road would be nice..
-
spotted a blond chick driving a red echo giving me the finger on old Windsor rd
im sure she enjoyed traveling 15km/h under the speed limit but i sure didnt .......
was hilarious wen she gave me the finger hahahahahahahahaha i dont think she was comfortable with how close i was behind her
HOON :P
Always see a silver pre-facelift stivo parked at Strathfield outside the plaza.. has eyelids, think it has a grille, and black rims
-
I believe I was driving alongside and at times following behind IC3MAN today. From just off Anzac Bridge onwards.. and also think I crossed Sinan's ride soon after at one of the traffic lights.. HAHA
Yep, that was me! :D

This may be because the fuel tank has been hit by something...
Happened to me once and it stayed on the last line.. but when petrol hit that mark the needle would go down.
Got it checked out at a service at Toyota, told me there was nothing wrong with the sensors, but I had a large dent in the fuel tank.
No major problems.. yet.. and the gauge is now working fine.
-
I should be there if I can get all the dents and bruises fixed up! Another cruise would be nice
-
Facebook ruins lives. I joined up anyway..
-
Great cruise out to Wisemans Ferry.. took much less time than expected!!
Anyway.. didn't get to take many photos (sh***y camera and lighting).. but here are a few:
-
Wouldn't know if they are the exact same rims, but here you go:

I'd also go for these out of the two.. not a fan of wheels with silver + black

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... is it worth putting an auto 1ZZ down the 1/4 mile ?? ;)
I might be down if I can find a helmet !
-
I shall most likely be there if I have nothing to do
-
Spotted this morning a pre-facelift, black 1ZZ on the intersection where Hungry Jacks is and Parramatta Rd at Auburn.
Blitz badge on the back, and vinyl on the side. Seen the car many times around. Like many cars, including mine, it needs a well earned scrub!! :P

"Sydneysiders will be able to wash their cars with a hose again this weekend for the first time in almost five years after the State Government agreed to ease water restrictions."

Yay~ no more trips down to carlovers and no more huge brushes that don't get s*** off!

Looking very sweet!
Full black rims suit that gold colour nicely..
-
If I had spare money and time I'd actually shave the bootlid. I'd do the doors as well, why the hell not.

2 Can you put the same mods on either 03 or 05 models eg aftermarket grill, side mirror indicator lights?
The main differences between the '03 and '05 models (body-wise) are the front end, and the rear tail lights. By front end I mean the front bumper, fenders and the bonnet.. oh and the headlights.
There's no actual 'grille' on the '05 model that you can replace.. it's attached to the front bumper.
Other than the front, I guess you can mod the '03 and '05 models with the same things (including engine).
I don't own a sportivo, so those that do can probably answer the other questions you have!

No need to..... Cause.... We..... all....KNOW........ SILVER is the best .... :D
