Most recent mod: CES Cold Air Intake
It was a tight fit, and had some issues with the rubber hose.. but it was all worth it :yahoo:

are we waiting for some more people ?

Hey guys,
just got my hands on a CES CAI for the 1zz-fe..
and as you said Angelo "the breather pipe, on previous model rollas, is on the throttle body", well for the facelift rollas its exactly that.. and I'm wondering... should I block off the pipe on the CAI (in Northy's pic), and leave the hose connected to the breather pipe on the throttle body ? from wat I see I dont think it should really matter..
also, I tried installing the CAI but then found out that the rubber tubing is too small and won't fit onto the throttle body..
is there something i missed out during the install process ?
or is the only alternative buying a bigger rubber tube ?
anyone with any input appreciated!
David
hold up so you car is not drive by wire but the CAI you have is like nortys pic??
block off the pipe on the CAI just leave the breather going to the throttle body
if we lived closer we could of swapped CAIs
yep i blocked that pipe off.. CAI is in the car now.. ! :yahoo:

Well nothing too special.. its only a cruise around car
Mods so far:
- 10" [can't remember the brand] sub
- Altec amp
- Philips Crystal Vision bulbs
- X-force twin loop
- King Springs Lows
- CES Cold Air Intake
Also have to get rid of that dent in the back !!
PICS:
Philips Crystal Vision
Stock ride height
With Kings.. would have liked the back a bit lower.. but oh well ! :)

Thanks guys, yeah a few people said I should lower it in the show and shine LOL. I should lower her but I do like to take speed humps at normal people speeds but a lowered Rolla does look awesome. Decisions decisions.
i just had my rolla lowered today [kings lows].. n i must say.. looking 100000000 times better.. :D :D
and wat do u mean by 'normal people speeds' ??
i was driving through the high school i used to go to, going over the humps and it was fine..
i can even get up my driveway, which is pretty steep, without scraping.. [even with the muffler sticking out the back]
btw love ur car!
