Hi Aurion ZR6, Have just finished downloading the lot. Cannot seem to get the index working but that is really irrelevant. There is just so much information that would take months to work through. Appreciate your efforts in making this reference material available to other members of this forum. Just a brief glance through the material provides many of the answers to the queries raised in this forum. I quickly ran downstairs and followed the instructions (by following the remote presses), and with a cheer of joy, my head unit is back to normal. I am one happy guy again. i dont want to sound like a know it all ,but i was going to ask about how is the video setting reached,,,it reminded me(watching your youtube video)of a time i had the same thing going on with a set top box i have,i was trying to connect through the wrong output setting,, happy for you (and me,i was worried i might have bought a lemon too ).still havent had time to install mine yet.

thanks for the pics,, have been playing around today with mine and found the same thing with the obstruction,,will cut the plastic away more tommorrow,,had to go to toyota to get replacement white clips for reattstching the plastic garnish/trim..did you break yours?seem very brittle.

Well after posting the photo and video to Rob, he has suggested the best way is if I can send it back to them with my installers receipt for them to assess. I will pull it out first thing in the morning, send it express, and hope for the best. hope it doesnt happen to mine ,,got mine from rob 2 weeks ago but havent installed it yet. how old is your unit? does anyone know if the programming of a new key can be done by simple keyturning procedure(like remotes) or does it require hookup of some toyota dealer machine? ive got a new key for my Aurion and had it cut, but now need it programmed.

oh man,,,, your a f#$kn champ,,thanks mate,worked first go. do you know if this prcedure works the same on a 2000 corolla?i think its the same model as yours,,single button remote,,one of them had a battery go flat and when i changed it it stopped working.but i dont want to try to reprogram incase its the wrong procedure.. once again thanks heaps mate. well, its was worth a try,, ive been going through hell for weeks now,,,trying everything ,with some help from sanz ive got to the point where it displays full screen(igo v 8 im talking about) and boots fine,,, but when you actually go to navigate to somewhere the screen goes blank and turns off,,, need to reboot to get it back...any ideas FAT

I could do with some help. I have a copy of IGO8 aand Aussie Maps but not sure if it's the right one. If it is how do i get this to work on the AVC? Oh, radio reception issue resolved. It was an issue with two transposed pins on the supplied loom. Check your messages. Once you have the right version installed, it really is a peace of cake - trust me! All done. I'n now running IGO8, Finean and Route66 on the one SD Card. You don't happen to have an Australian language file for IGO8 do you? i cant seem to find a version of igo8 that displays right and cant figure out how to get finean to see the maps,, dont want to be a GIMME,,, but can you upload the 3 in 1 contents of your SD ? another software that i HAVE got working is McGuider ,,if anyones interested.

I am wondering about the same thing. I looked behind mine this morning and the manual controls ARE electronic. There are no vacumm lines or anything like that there. An electrical connector is all that plugs into the back of it. What we need is someone with a ZR6 to try it in a SX6/ATX. or someone willing to forkout for the module anyone looked into what its worth from toymota spare parts? havent come acrss one on ebay yet.

Hi peoplz im new here as you can see,,, have been trying to use the search to find any info on what im asking but no luck,,, Can anyone tell me if its possible to do a straight swap over of the manual knob controls on ,say an AT-X aircon and replace it with the clmate control module?? i dont really care if dual zone doesnt work,, but would prefer the smaller neater looking automatic controls ,,, does anyone know if the heaterbox is compatible ? i havent looked behind the dash yet to see if its electronic,,,im guessing the days of cables and vacuum tiubes are gone.
