Leave the exhaust system completely stock, nothing will match the stock exhaust for what you pay, not worth it. Keep a grand in your pocket and live without a stupid 2-3 kW gain (or loss) on a dyno sheet, which makes no difference in your driving. And im not writing this from second hand information, it's from personal experience.

Its a long clip, you get to see the corolla near the end of the show, pity it blows it gear box. Worth watching the Lotus crapping itself again and again.

Actually guys this is a dud car. VW have "tuned" the engine to give it an extra 22kw and 25 NM of torque. Using this same 1.8T engine, most after market chip tunes will jump the normal 110KW 210 Nm to 140-150 kw and 280-310 Nm for MAX 1800 AUD. 22425 euros is about 37 ks AUD.

Add your on roads and your're close to 40k. I was offered a normal polo gti for 33 fully speced on road. So with that extra 7 k, you can certain end up with a more powerful and better looking beastie.

Spot on dude, thats the thing with Turbo's, you can mod them cheaper with aftermarket stuff than factory.

I was looking at the TTE website and found their turbo kit. Its for the MRs but im sure it would fit in the rolla as well. Very impressive figures. I wonder if this will ever be on the production line in South Africa. In fact I would prefer this option in the future Sportivo instead of the Compressor. The turbo pumps out 255 NM of torques compared to the 215Nm from the blower. Wouldnt that make more sense???

Once again the ref made a crucial decision awarding France the 1st penalty, which was another beautifully mastered DIVE!!!. Good win to the Italians, they must have practiced penalty kicks all week coz they never looked like missing :) . Got them at $4.25, picked up $212.50. It can be done every time, you just have to know how to shift. Alot of you guys still move the stick from 1st to 2nd straight down, and you have a 50-50 to get it in second in time. If you push it into second slightly to the left, it gets in quicker and you improve your chances.

As for the drag strip, they launch like crap on a stock clutch, no turque down low, get someone to push ya!!

The perfect launch is around 17-1800 rpm, doesent wear out the cluch, and you get good fuel consumption....were you talking about daily driving?
