nar not yet man just sliped it in purely to see if the engine light would come on. still bare metal, MAF hole needs to be made a tad bigger, spacers for maf need to be put on, i will then put it on again and get a bracket made up, then it will be off to get coated. so hopefully around 2 weeks and ill have it all comeplete, u will be sure to see some photos then.

well i think its because atm it sucking way to much air because its used to the restriction of the previous setup hense the loud noise. same happened with my exhuast, loud then soft :( cant explain that one tho.

the back seats dont really weigh fuk all do they? if they dont ill leave them in and my extent of stripping other than that is everything in the boot, sub and wheel....thats it i emagine u will be doing that aswell. then i will really know if there is a difference with my car....and then it will be same "weight reduction" as yours lol just need some wheels now

good on ya man! u got any pics?? that is a pretty good price too B) TRD spring out of the trd aurion (not aftermarket trd) will lower it 15mm i had real trouble selling mine, dont no how much a wheel shop would give u for them but i sold mine for 400, bot of gutter rash 90% from 50% rear Wheel shop offered me $160 <_< so I'd rather keep them in my garage About the TRD spring, where we can possibly get them from? Can we get them directly from Toyota? yeh i think the only place you are going to source them is from toyota as a new part. or if anyone on the forum lowered there TRD grab there old springs off them if they want to sell them. only ever seen 1 trd lowered and it looks crazy hot, he convinced me to lower mine

just need to post again cos i couldnt beleive how loud it was...u could hear it from the next block no worries, it WILL turn heads, sounds like vtec cos it comes on suddenly at about 4k but really deep it would just be because the computer hasnt adjusted to it yet, like the guys said give it a bit and it wont be as loud..... :(

mums got an 09 wrx sedan in blue. so nice and SOOO fast i havent been to a boost meet for months now. i hardly go on the site, just to check whats on eg. fat pipes dyno day that i even invited u along too. i try to get to as many TOCAU events as i can but its hard because i have class on that night till late. this week i had a week off and mates that i havent seen for 6 months were going and invited me to come so im sorry that i missed 1 event. i didnt really enjoy it while i was there and i strongly dissagree to me being a booster, i dont like that scene i was just keen to try something different for a change and see an old mate. well im going down regardless

I'm going to go with street trim like what Ash has said. I'll feel better that way. May not be the same time as your Rowan, but it will be a realistic figure. ive already got my realiastic fiqure so thats y im takeing stuff out (depending on how much it weighs after i get it out, might just go with it in) y are people dissing stripping there car...look at all the tracking guys they strip them out hardcore? u should pull the same as my old fiqure man no worries....id be happy pulling .1 faster with sh|t taken out and new mods

SUCCESS EVERYONE test intake got fitted today WITHOUT any engine check light...went for a quick drive and OMFG sounds sooooooooo hot and its REALLY loud!!!!!! love it getting last few things put on it and then bracket fitted, hpc coated then it will be fully installed.....yay!!!!!!! thank you drew

there was about 100 or so of us at freedom carpark, we all left for a cruise to vicky pt. we were racing but not being to stupid it was like squirt then back to speed limit. there was a traffic watch on one of the hills on the way and they saw us. obvisoly called the backup and by the time we got about 5 k's down the road there was a roadblock (redland bay road so pretty big one 2 lanes each way) and they stopped every done up car so 95% of the car for the next 10 mins lol so we were blocked there for 30mins to an hour wile they went over our cars...bit of exitement for the night

they had 100 people down the road that they were trying to deal with so noone was around i thought i might take some photos for TOCAU amusement nar no sri, they had a pretty hard look at my car underneath and under the bonnet but i seemed to be ok (saying that before the cops even got to me, i gave each back guard a big lift so the car came up an inch an a half or so lol) alot of other people got done tho, orange notices where getting handed out laeft right and center negative on bayside cruises again

Why is that ELEGNT ? Azza so it brings the front down a little...even tho its level now and it still srapes alot on gutters and whateva id still like it a bit lower at the front and just take more care i wouldnt tho id get the pedders coilovers Why not stick to kings all round as they make 3 diffrent lowering ranges 25mm ,42mm and 60mm I think. Azza cos they dont its just lows atm

my only nights/arvo that are free are friday during the week so i could only make a saturday my uncle with that yellow ute always gets there on open cos he is pretty slow but he get 3 or 4 consecutive runs in with the wait of only the people on the strip each time id be keen for that

its not the rubber that im worried about i wont be skidding cos there is no point on streets. its the weight, 7 kg per wheel/tire i wont even be able to break the 15.0 with that...i noticed alot of diff when i had the other rims on for fat pipes day they recon for every 1.5 kg extra on your wheels its 10kg in the car so that means 186.6kg extra in my car....mmmm nup lol i can see why people go really light now
