Hi All, Im having issues in the morning starting the ZR6....It used to start straight away but now its trying to start but takes a few seconds and then kicks over.... Has anyone come across this problem and had it fixed??? My car has only done 82,000km and serviced regulary by Toyota only. Thanks, Rick.

Hi All, It has been a while since i've posted somthing so hope this helps as most of the time I need the help..lol My Set up: 19" Lenso Type M ( Black with Red Lip ) Sitting on Kuhmo CCST Sports 235/35R19 - VERY NOISY TYRE Lowered Using Pedders Sport Ryders Dropped 2" all round NO RUBBING but sometimes too low for peoples drive ways. Im Looking at putting the stock Sportivo Rims back on.....Do want to sell my Lenzo's if anyone is interested or will swap for stock with added money Can contact me on 0431144069. Thanks

That did occur to me when they set it up, and the reason i didn't ask is cause they only did 2 runs on it, both of which were very similar, so i was happy and so were they, so we left it at that. had there been more runs, then i def would have asked them to put a fan there, cause i know how much this thing can heat up quite quickly. on a side note, last night at the drag strip, i managed to run a 14.5 quarter mile time, at +/- 152 or 153kmph so imo the exhaust and CAI did make quite a bit of difference. i know DJKOR ran a 14.1 but it was quite a warm night here in perth, so i dunno if that had anything to do with it? but all in all, i'm happy with the results, and bragging right are mine with my mates for the time being, till one of them gets a quicker one and beats me. there were quite a few comments after i ran the 14.5, a lot of people were surprised to see an Aurion on the drag strip, let alone see it run 14.5secs! i'll load the timeslip when i get home later tonight just for verification! Hi, I have just put my car on the Dyno @ VE Rigoli in sydney......I got 143.6KW with a short ram intake. How do i get more power?? Thanks

AGE:26 - 24 when purchased Aurion. SEX: MALE STATUS: Married 2 1/2 Yrs REASON: Plain and simple really, loved Toyota ever since i bought my 2005 Corolla Sportivo before i was married, then i got a company car and my mrs at the time was driving a Toyota Echo 2003, great car. So we had 3 cars and really only driving the one ( company car which was a Ford Falcon 2004 - PCS OF SH*T) and my mrs couldnt drive manual...... So we walked into Mosmon Toyota and asked about the Aurion. The week later i was driving it home. Love the look, the interior and the power and most of all the reliability of Toyota as a brand. Would never purchase a Holden or Ford. I think i was the first Aurion sale for that dealer, purchased early December 2006.

The Facelift ZR6 is priced at exactly the same pricepoint as the original at $43,999 I thinks that more than?? The first series was only $42,000 + on roads. well thats what i paid in December 06. Are the photos available on the Toyota site?

Im not sure if im going to like the new one, I am impressed with the new front facelift but not so much looking at the front to back side view of the top of the range.......its starting to look more like Holden and Ford. Toyota should try to keep there own design rather than follow the lines of the other Ozi family cars.. Anyway ill be keeping mine for a while before changing the ZR6 cost enough for me......Does anyone know how much the new ZR6 would cost yet? thanks.

Hey DJKOR, This might sound dumb but can it be the break system (ABS) might be working if you are slowing down then let some preasure of the brake to creep up slowly to a set of lights or coming to a stop? Mine does this sometimes, i notice the ABS working while doing that and not so much pressing the brake normally? Also while on the topic of ABS does your Aurion make a noise like engaging knock in the engine bay just as you drive it after you start the motor? Toyota told me its the ABS engaging??? I dont know anything about it. Thanks Rick

hi people...... I have found my dash to sometimes be all over the place.........sometimes the fuel light comes on and the dash says 70 Km till empty????? I found it strange so i asked Toyota to check it for me which they said the diagnostics computer said it was fine ( im sure? ) and the computer test ok. Normally the light only comes on when i have 40 to 50 range left. which is pretty spot on.

Hi guys & girls....i guess Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member of the forum.... I bought my ZR6 in december 2006 as they hit the show room. I must say i love this car and havent had 1 problem with it......Toyota always live up to their reptation, also excited about the drive days as i have never been on one before and just looking forward to going with a group of Aurions.....( will look awesom ) Anyway happy driving and see you then Thanks Rick

Thanks mate. just thought i would add some pics of my Aurion & thanks to the Forum i have installed some Eclipse 6X9's in the Rear and sounds awesome, waiting to get an amp and DLS 960 for the front.

Yes i have the same problem, i think from previous posts that the tweeter speaker grills are the main problem. but i would like to know what Toyota say because i do remeber someone saying that there may be a recall about the dash mounts being faulty??? Regards, Rick
