hi all

a new user to this site, but seeking a bit of help

I have a 2000 model hilux dual cab with 3ltr turbo motor. Recently had the timing belt done by a mechanic mate of mine - but the timing belt light has come on. this automatically comes on at 140 000kms.....so wondering if anyone has any idea how to get turn this warning light off.

much obliged

you have to remove the instrument cluster and alternate one of the two holes on the electronic board on the back.

its not too bad. modern cars come apart easily if you know how and where to pull on

allow an hour or 2 for a first timer

a dealership should do it in 15mins
