Can anyone advise what they think of this model and how much different it would be to my current Camry a 2001 base model (the very last release of the model before the previous model i.e with the larger crystal rear lights) .

Looking for the safety aspects of the new one family and all.

If I wasn't buying this for the wife. I would trade my Corolla Sportivo in for Sportivo Aurion.

So don't go recommending the Aurion for the missus sticking to the Ateva. I'm keeping my Sportivo.

What price has anyone paid for a new Camry compared to RRP.

Anything of help or you think I need to know would be appreciated.

I think it's just like always, it's a Camry. Reliable, solid motoring.

How different would it be? Well for one, it would feel a lot more spacious as the car had really grown in the smiley face ACV36 model, and this new model is about the same size.

The Ateva is also a safe car, with a standard six airbags and a not-too-shabby 4 star ANCAP rating. However, I think it lacks stability control, but supposedly from August production onwards, it will become standard, so you could wait.

What else? Nothing really, except it's not particularly fast or frugal with its weight and only a 4 cylinder engine to move it along. The Aurion would be better in this regard, but you have already put that off your list.
