Rear Skirt and Corolla Rims

Hey, I have a 2003 corolla sportivo. If I buy a rear skirt will it fit or will it cover the muffler? if so is there a way around this? And also will the new rims available as options for the new corolla fit the 2003 model? i imagine it would...

ok as far as the rear skirt, it should fit but you might need to cut around the muffler... i think it depends on which rear skirt? not sure.. but people have discussed this before and i remember cutting was involved.

the new corolla rims wont fit.

thats because the new corolla rims use 5 lug nuts.

the corollas from previous models used 4.

i wanted the new corolla rims as well but saw that they just wont fit :/

but yea search round the corolla thread.. people have discussed this stuff about the rear skirt before

This has been covered numerous times. just do a search for "rear skirt". it'll save everyone having to repeat themselves.

yeh...i'll have a look but i thought the question about the rims was worth a post anyway...i like the new rims that come with the new corolla... was cheaper for me with the toyota discount and all...oh well!
